The tournament took place from April 23rd to May 21st, 2023, with 16 teams from various departments within the university competing in 31 matches at the Hoc Mon Campus Football Field (HUFLIT).

Despite of challenges due to unpredictable weather, conflicting schedules with classes and exams, leading to irregular training sessions, the players from all 16 teams demonstrated their dedication, providing exciting and captivating matches.

Following intense matches, the HUFLIT Men’s Soccer Tournament 2022-2023 crowned AFC Calcio Championship after a thrilling 3-2 victory against Lion King in the Final. Despite less than ideal weather conditions, AFC Calcio showcased their determination and a bit of luck, overcoming the final obstacle named Lion King to claim the top honor of this year’s tournament.

The HUFLIT Student Soccer Tournament 2022-2023 officially concluded, leaving behind beautiful memories in the hearts of participating teams and fans alike, inspired by the passion, sportsmanship, and love for soccer that each player brought to the field.
We hope that the tournament has instilled positive inspiration in HUFLIT students, encouraging them to participate in sports and physical activities to improve their spirits, physical health, and contribute to the success of the university’s “Every student regularly practices one sport” campaign initiated by the Student Union.
