The Faculty of Foreign Languages at HUFLIT “Ignites” the Teaching Profession for Major StudentsRecently, the Faculty of Foreign Languages organized the first professional skills seminar for students in the 2025–2026 academic year under the theme “From the Classroom to the Teaching Podium.” The program was not only a career-sharing session but also opened a profound narrative about the educational journey—exploring choices, commitment, and sustaining passion for the teaching profession in the context of modern education.
HUFLIT Holds the Employee Conference for the 2025–2026 Academic Year
On November 28, 2025, HUFLIT held the Employee Conference for the 2025–2026 academic year to review the university’s operations, acknowledge staff feedback, and approve key resolutions – advancing sustainable development and fostering a happy, supportive working environment for the HUFLIT community.
The conference was attended by Ms. Nguyễn Thị Mỹ Linh, representative of Task Force No. 1 in charge of Propaganda and Women’s Affairs under the Ho Chi Minh City Federation of Labor.
From HUFLIT, participants included Dr. Nguyễn Anh Tuấn – Secretary of the HUFLIT Party Committee, President of HUFLIT; Ms. Phạm Thị Thanh Uyên – Vice Chair of the University Council, Vice President of HUFLIT; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Ngọc Vũ – Vice President of HUFLIT; Ms. Lê Thị Tuyết Anh – Chairwoman of the University Trade Union, along with 280 delegates representing HUFLIT staff community.
Following the success of previous years, this year’s Employee Conference continued to embody a spirit of openness, active listening, and constructive dialogue – addressing the contributions and concerns of HUFLIT’s lecturers, administrative staff, and employees in academic and operational activities.
Also at the conference, the presentation titled “Best Workplace Award – Why Can’t It Be HUFLIT?”, delivered by Mr. Đỗ Đức Anh from the Center for Business Relations and Student Support, was shared with all attending faculty and staff.
At the conference, HUFLIT’s Trade Union was honored to receive the Emulation Flag from the Ho Chi Minh City Federation of Labor for its outstanding performance as a grassroots union in the 2024–2025 academic year. Over the past year, the University Trade Union has remained active in providing support and care for employees. Its diverse and meaningful activities consistently received enthusiastic participation from HUFLIT’s lecturers, administrative staff, and employees – contributing to a strong and united HUFLIT community.
Among these initiatives, several have become signature activities of the Union, such as the “Union Meal,” holiday gift programs, and the annual Employee Bowling Tournament.
The University also acknowledged the efforts of various departments and individuals whose contributions have driven positive changes across multiple areas of HUFLIT. In recognition of these achievements, HUFLIT honored and awarded the title of Outstanding Labor Collective to 16 units with exceptional performance in the 2024–2025 academic year.
With a spirit of discipline, and democracy, the Employee Conference for the 2025–2026 academic year concluded successfully with strong consensus from all participating delegates.
The implementation of grassroots democracy at HUFLIT continues to be carried out through regular dialogues between the University’s leadership and its employees. At the same time, employees actively contribute to the University’s overall development, helping the faculty and staff feel secure in their work and confident in fulfilling their assigned responsibilities.
HUFLIT’s human development strategy places strong emphasis on ensuring the well-being of its workforce, enabling employees to devote themselves wholeheartedly to building a sustainable, healthy, and progressive educational environment.
With optimism for a year of growth ahead, every member of the HUFLIT community remains committed to continuous effort and dedication—not only to the advancement of the University, but also to the broader development of society and the nation.
