3. Curriculum

Pathway 2 years · 60 credits

The programme is designed over 02 years in 04 semesters, with a pathway that balances foundational knowledge, specialised knowledge and research or applied practice.

Sem. 1 – 2

Foundations and disciplinary base

Students are equipped with foundations in Philosophy and Scientific Research Methodology together with disciplinary courses such as Managerial Economics, Globalisation and International Business, and Applied Statistics in Business. Students also choose an elective matching their specialisation, such as Business Analytics and Forecasting or Enterprise Information Systems Management.

Sem. 3 – 4

Advanced management capability

The programme develops advanced management capability through courses such as Human Resource Management – Organisational Behaviour – Corporate Culture, Innovation Management, Marketing and Brand Management, Financial Management and Corporate Governance, and Business Ethics and Sustainable Development. Students also select specialised courses to suit their career needs, such as Project Management and Bidding, Leadership and Entrepreneurship Skills, Supply Chain and Logistics Management, Business Negotiation and Communication, Quality Management and related courses.

Graduation

Master project or thesis

In the final stage of the programme, students prepare a project or thesis outline and choose one of two graduation tracks: a Master Project on the application orientation or a Master Thesis on the research orientation.

Extension

Extending the study period

The programme follows a standard pathway of 04 semesters across 02 years. Where an extension is needed, students may extend their study period to a maximum of 04 years in line with the University regulations.

Admission method

Application review combined with an assessment of specialised capability. The assessment is based on: (1) academic capability (relevant disciplinary subjects and undergraduate graduation classification); (2) English proficiency against the entry standard; (3) academic ability (research projects, publications and awards related to the field applied for); (4) work experience after graduation; (5) priority categories, if any.

Eligible candidates

Applicants who have graduated (or are eligible to graduate) from a relevant undergraduate programme, meet the specialised and English entry standards in force, have a clear personal record and are in good health for study. Candidates from a related or different discipline must complete bridging courses before the application review (the University offers bridging classes).

Priority categories

Bonus points in the specialised knowledge test: war invalids and persons entitled to policies as war invalids, children of martyrs, Heroes of the Armed Forces and Heroes of Labour; children of resistance activists exposed to toxic chemicals; persons with 2 or more years of service, or ethnic-minority persons with 2 or more years of permanent residence, in Region 1.
