“GenZ Major Insights 2026” – Episode 9: Boundless Journeys with HUFLIT’s Tourism and Hospitality ProgramsMany students choose the Tourism and Hospitality field simply because they love to travel. But passion alone is not enough to pursue this field in the long run. What matters more is understanding the nature of the discipline, its professional requirements, and the qualities needed to grow in a professional service environment.
International journey starts from HUFLIT
In the context of increasingly comprehensive global integration, equipping students with international skills, knowledge and experience has become an important goal of many universities in Vietnam. At HUFLIT, that spirit is realized through “global classrooms” right on campus – where students can meet, exchange and learn with international friends without having to go abroad.
“Global classrooms” in the heart of the city
HUFLIT proactively creates an “on-site” international learning environment through a series of diverse activities: from 4-6 month courses such as the English and Vietnamese culture program for foreign students, to short-term programs of only 2 weeks, 1 week or even a day. These “global classrooms” not only help students practice foreign languages, enrich their cultural knowledge and accumulate international experiences right on campus.
Unlimited Connection
At HUFLIT, the highlight of international learning is the flexible combination of online collaborative projects and direct exchange activities with international students. Through online projects, HUFLIT students are trained in cross-border teamwork skills, creative thinking and adaptability in a multicultural environment. Not only online classes, friends who have accompanied each other through computer screens can also study together in HUFLIT’s real classroom space with memorable lessons and memories.
Study with international experts
One of the highlights of the international education journey at HUFLIT is the presence of foreign professors and experts who directly teach and share at thematic reports. Each meeting is an opportunity for students to approach new perspectives, update their expertise from international practices and broaden their thinking through a global approach to problems. This is an open and multi-dimensional interactive channel for HUFLITers to confidently communicate and present their ideas.
Confidently step out into the world from international events
HUFLITers are always encouraged and facilitated by the University to participate in events, forums, and seminars jointly organized by international organizations. This is an opportunity for you to broaden your perspective, connect with the global academic and professional community, and access information about scholarships, internship programs, and international jobs.
Not only do students hone their professional skills and foreign languages, they also experience a multicultural environment – an important premise for forming the character, confidence and integration spirit of a new generation of global citizens.
Each international experience at HUFLIT not only broadens knowledge and perspectives, but also serves as a solid stepping stone to help HUFLITers mature and be ready to adapt to the global working environment. From collaborative projects, exchange programs to international thematic activities, many students have confidently applied to multinational companies or continued their studies in developed educational systems.
HUFLIT is gradually asserting its role as a dynamic international learning environment – where students are inspired to reach out to the world, develop themselves and form a global citizen mindset while still at school.
