Department of Planning and Finance
Advise on and administer financial planning, accounting and funding allocation to ensure that resources supporting University operations are used effectively and in accordance with applicable regulations.
Functions & Duties
- Advise on financial policies, planning and resource allocation.
- Consolidate budgets; collect tuition and other revenues; administer funding, payments, account settlement, accounting and financial inventories.
- Develop financial regulations and revenue and expenditure norms; guide and monitor budget use and the finances of revenue-generating units.
- Coordinate salaries, allowances and benefits for staff and students, and administer personal income tax.
- Coordinate asset inventories, disposal and depreciation assessments, and support audits.
