NGÀY: 11/09/2025

Pursuant to the Regulations on the Evaluation of Skill-Building Results for Full-Time Students at Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages and Information Technology (HUFLIT), promulgated under Decision No. 1174/QĐ-ĐNT dated September 15, 2022, of HUFLIT.

The University hereby informs all Faculties, relevant units, and students to conduct the evaluation of student skill-building results for the academic year 2025–2026 online via the Training Portal. https://portal.huflit.edu.vn/.

I. General Regulations

  1. The evaluation of student skill-building results will be conducted using a centralized software system, ensuring transparency and openness, automating most processes, and providing timely updates of data throughout the evaluation process.
  1. The software automatically integrates data from relevant units to update additional or deducted points for certain evaluation criteria, such as semester academic results, timely tuition payment, participation in University surveys, examination violations, and other related factors.

3. Key Points to Note When Conducting the Evaluation of Student Skill-Building Results:

a) The evaluation of student skill-building results is conducted on a per-semester basis. The overall score for the academic year 2025–2026 is calculated as the average of the skill-building scores from the main semesters within the academic year (Class of 2022: 1 main semester; Classes of 2023 and 2024: 3 main semesters; Class of 2025: 2 main semesters).

b) The time frame for recording activities to evaluate student skill-building for each semester is as follows:

  • Semester 1: From August 1, 2025, to December 15, 2025

  • Semester 2: From December 16, 2025, to April 30, 2026 (applies only to the Classes of 2023, 2024, and 2025; Class of 2022 students have completed their program and will not participate in skill-building evaluation)

  • Semester 3: From May 1, 2026, to July 31, 2026 (applies only to the Classes of 2023 and 2024; if Class of 2025 students participate in activities during this period, their points will be counted toward Semester 1 of the following academic year)

c) Students who do not participate in the skill-building evaluation will receive a score of 0 and be classified as “Poor” in skill-building.

d) Relevant units (Faculties, Departments, Centers, Youth Union and Student Association, Organizing Committees of student activities, etc.):

  • Must submit the plan/proposal for the activity to the Office of Student Affairs and Political Education at least 15 days before the activity takes place, so that the Office can issue an activity code and announce it on the Training Portal for student registration.

  • After the activity is completed, the units must promptly update the attendance list of participating students in the system, allowing students to track their skill-building points and submit any complaints or feedback within 7 days.

II. Procedure for Evaluating Student Skill-Building Results

  1. Self-Evaluation by Students

Students log into the system, review the points recorded by the system for each criterion, and self-assess the remaining items. Students can view the evaluation results at the Class, Faculty, and University levels and submit any questions or complaints, if applicable, in accordance with the regulations.

Note: Click “Save Evaluation” after completing the self-assessment; the system will display the total score and the preliminary classification. At the same time, the status will change from “Save Evaluation” to “Evaluation Saved”. Students can check feedback in the “Personal Notifications” section. Students must complete the evaluation within the announced timeframe. For activities participated in outside the University, students should contact their Faculty for support in recording skill-building points.

  1. Class-Level Evaluation

A representative faculty member or department staff appointed by the Faculty participates in and oversees the evaluation of student skill-building results within the class.

Class President:

  • Logs into the system to record the evaluation results of students in the class.

  • Organizes a class meeting to review and approve each student’s self-evaluation score (the meeting can be held in-person or online).

  • Prepares a record of the class evaluation results (the results must be approved by more than half of the class and confirmed by the attending faculty member or department staff). The record, along with the class-level student skill-building scores, is then submitted to the Faculty.

  • Confirms the recorded skill-building scores in the system and clicks “Save Evaluation” after completing the evaluation process.

  1. Faculty-Level Evaluation

  • Log into the system to evaluate the skill-building results of students in all classes within the Faculty.

  • Compile the results and submit them to the Faculty Evaluation Council/Head of Faculty for review and approval.

  • Announce the evaluation results to all students in the Faculty; receive and handle any complaints, submitting adjustments (if necessary) for approval by the Head of Faculty.

  • Generate a report and submit the Faculty’s student skill-building results (with confirmation from the Head of Faculty) to the University via the Office of Student Affairs and Political Education.

4. University-Level Evaluation

  • The Office of Student Affairs and Political Education compiles the skill-building results for all students across the University.

  • Students are notified to review their results on the system and can submit complaints, which will be coordinated with the Faculties for resolution (if applicable).

  • Submit the evaluation report to the University Evaluation Council/President for review and official recognition of the student skill-building results.

  • Students can view the officially published evaluation results on the system.
