While some aspects of the standards do not directly or explicitly require specific actions, the fundamental concepts and principles must be considered when conducting valuation. The goal of international valuation standards is to increase the confidence of appraisers in their valuation work and the trust of users of valuation services by establishing transparent and consistent valuation practices”.
