Continuing the mission of equipping students with skills, working style and discipline according to Japanese standards, on March 14, 2019 at the Conference Room of 155 Su Van Hanh, Prof. Fumio Okita – a business speaker from Japan, and HUFLIT students experienced an interesting workshop with the topic “Japanese corporate culture”.

The morning class attracted more than 100 students of the Japanese Studies Department of the Faculty of Oriental Languages and Cultures. The afternoon class of the same day was held for interested students of other faculties.
This year’s lecture by expert Okita was updated with a lot of new knowledge, highly practical and conveyed to students in an easy-to-understand and lively way. Thereby, HUFLIT students were able to approach and learn about business models, working environment and culture of Japanese enterprises; in addition to business philosophy, people-oriented policies, focusing on social responsibility and working culture of Japanese people.
Not only listening to the sharing from the speaker, students also had the opportunity to interact and ask questions to the expert about issues they were still wondering about when working in a Japanese business environment and were answered enthusiastically by Mr. Okita.

At the end of the workshop, HUFLIT sent to Prof. Okita gave a beautiful flower as a thank you for the useful knowledge that the teacher had imparted. This will be a valuable asset to help future graduates prepare to participate in the multinational business environment, specifically in dynamic, modern but equally disciplined Japanese companies and corporations.

Speaker – Prof. Fumio Okita is a Japanese Corporate Culture Training Expert of the Japan Cultural Association (HIDA) and Director of OKITA OFFICE Human Resources Training Company (Tokyo). He has a lot of experience in researching Japanese culture and business environment as well as having many interactions with Vietnamese people working in Japanese enterprises.
