The Faculty of Foreign Languages at HUFLIT “Ignites” the Teaching Profession for Major StudentsRecently, the Faculty of Foreign Languages organized the first professional skills seminar for students in the 2025–2026 academic year under the theme “From the Classroom to the Teaching Podium.” The program was not only a career-sharing session but also opened a profound narrative about the educational journey—exploring choices, commitment, and sustaining passion for the teaching profession in the context of modern education.
Benedictine University, USA visited and worked with HUFLIT
On the morning of October 25, 2018, Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages - Information Technology welcomed and worked with representatives of Benedictine University, USA, including Mr. David Kleinberg, Head of International Cooperation Programs and Mr. David Mang Truong, Head of Cooperation Programs in Vietnam. The two sides met and discussed programs that the two schools could cooperate on.

During this visit, on October 23, 2018, HUFLIT organized a tour of famous tourist attractions in the city to introduce more about Vietnamese culture and history to Benedictine representatives. Foreign guests were extremely excited by the unique architecture of the Independence Palace; could not help but admire the height of Landmark 81 – the tallest building to date not only in Vietnam but also in Southeast Asia; and were also moved by the authentic historical images displayed at the War Remnants Museum.

At the intimate dinner after the working session, Ms. Nguyen Thi Vinh Tran – Head of Foreign Affairs – General Affairs – Administration also represented HUFLIT to present gifts imbued with Vietnamese identity to the Benedictine school representatives.

Through this working visit, the guests from the US expressed their gratitude for the thoughtful and warm welcome of HUFLIT and also wished to further promote academic exchange activities within the framework of cooperation between the two schools.
