Announcement on Tuition Fee Payment for the Academic Year 2025 – 2026

1. Tuition Fee Rates:

   Tuition fees are calculated based on the number of credits a student registers for each semester, and the per-credit tuition rate will remain unchanged for all students until they complete their program according to the prescribed training schedule, specifically:

   • For students of the 2025 cohort: tuition is paid according to the notice in the admission letter, at a rate of 1,230,000 VND per theory credit; for practical courses, the tuition fee is multiplied by a factor of 1.5 per credit.

   • For students from the 2024 cohort and earlier:

Unit: VND per credit

• The credit fee applies to each student category mentioned above, regardless of the mode of teaching and learning.

  • For courses with practical credits or field internships (for students in the Pedagogy major under the Faculty of Foreign Languages): the credit fee is multiplied by a factor of 1.5.

  • For Physical Education courses: the tuition fee is the same as for theoretical courses; for National Defense Education courses, the fee is equivalent to 3 theoretical credits.

2. Tuition Payment Method:

   2.1 Paying tuition via the University’s payment portal:

   Students can pay tuition through the payment portal by following these steps:

   • Step 1: Access the “Student Finance” section in the student portal and select “Pay Tuition,” or visit the website: https://e-bills.vn/pay/huflit, enter your student ID in the “Student ID” field, and click “Search” to retrieve your tuition information.

b/ If you select VNPAY: Click “Pay” → choose the icon of the bank you are using/pre-installed on your device, then log in to complete the payment.

If automatic login is not possible, take a screenshot of the QR code, open your bank app on your phone, select the QRPay feature, upload the captured QR image, and follow the verification steps to complete the payment.

2.2 Paying tuition fees in cash at branches or transaction offices of Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank):

Students can go to any branch or transaction office of Agribank to pay tuition fees for Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages and Information Technology (HUFLIT) through the payment portal in cash and follow the transaction instructions provided by Agribank.

(After completing the payment following the instructions in Sections 2.1 or 2.2 above, the student’s account will be debited immediately. Students can check their account status on the website: https://portal.huflit.edu.vn/.)

3. Method of issuing tuition invoices for students:

   After students complete the payment via the University’s payment portal, within 5–7 days, students can log in to their HUFLIT email account (StudentID@st.huflit.edu.vn) or visit https://portal.huflit.edu.vn/ to receive the electronic invoice from the Planning – Finance Department.

   If students do not receive the electronic invoice via email after this period, they must contact the Planning – Finance Department immediately for verification and reconciliation.

   The verification and reconciliation process should be completed within 15 days from the date the tuition fee was paid.

4. Tuition Payment Deadline:

   • Semester 1: From August 3, 2025 until 5:00 PM, September 3, 2025.

   • Semesters 2 and 3: The University will provide detailed announcements during the course registration periods for Semesters 2 and 3 of the 2025–2026 academic year.

Students who fail to fulfill their tuition payment obligations or do not pay on time will receive an academic warning, will not be allowed to take final exams, submit theses, or participate in internships, and their related documents and certifications will not be processed. Depending on the severity of the situation, they may also be subject to suspension or expulsion in accordance with University regulations.

5. Extension of Tuition Payment for Semester 1:

   For students from policy families or those in particularly difficult circumstances who cannot pay tuition on time or in full according to regulations, students are requested to follow the procedure to apply for an extension of the tuition payment deadline:

   • Step 1: Download the tuition extension request form from the University’s website: https://portal.huflit.edu.vn/News/Detail/3318/Mau-don-Gia-han-dong-hoc-phi-sinh-vien

   • Step 2: Complete all required information on the form.

   • Step 3: Submit the completed form to the Faculty Office from the date of this announcement until August 18, 2025. Faculties will consolidate and send the forms to the Office of Student Affairs before August 26, 2025. The maximum allowed extension for completing tuition payment is 5:00 PM on October 3, 2025.

   Note: A valid tuition extension request form must be signed by the applicant and certified by the local authority (including signature and official red stamp). Students should monitor the approval results posted on the University’s website.

   Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages and Information Technology (HUFLIT) requests all relevant units, individuals, and students to strictly comply with this announcement.
