Notice on evaluating student training results for the 2024-2025 school year
Pursuant to the Regulations on assessing the training results of full-time students of Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages and Information Technology issued under Decision No. 1174/QD-DNT dated September 15, 2022 of Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages and Information Technology.
The school notifies the Faculties, relevant units and students of the whole school to conduct an online assessment of student training results for the 2024-2025 school year on the Training Information Portal https://portal.huflit.edu.vn/ .
I. General provisions
1. Evaluation of student training results is carried out on common software, ensuring publicity, transparency, automating most operations and promptly updating data during the student training evaluation process.
2. The software automatically connects data from related units to update plus or minus points in some training assessment criteria such as: semester learning results, paying tuition on time, participating in surveys as announced by the School, violating exam regulations, etc.
3. Some points to note when evaluating student training results:
a) Evaluation of student training results is conducted for each semester. The training score for the 2024-2025 school year is the average of the training scores of the main semesters in the 2024-2025 school year ( course 2021: 01 main semester, courses 2022 and 2023: 03 main semesters, course 2024: 02 main semesters).
b) Time to record activities to evaluate training for each semester is as follows:
- Semester 1 : from August 1, 2024 to December 15, 2024
- Semester 2 : from December 16, 2024 to April 30, 2025 ( only applicable to courses 2022, 2023 and 2024; students of course 2021 finish the course according to the training program so there is no training assessment )
- Semester 3 : from May 1, 2025 to July 31, 2025 ( only applicable for courses 2022 and 2023, students of course 2024 who participate in activities during this time will be counted as training points for Semester 1 of the next school year )
c) Students who do not take the training assessment will receive a training score of 0 , classified as Poor training .
d) Relevant units (Faculty, Department, Center, Youth Union, Student Association, Organizing Committee of activities with student participation…):
Units must send the Plan/Proposal for organizing activities to the Student Affairs Department at least 15 days before the activity takes place, so that the Student Affairs Department can issue the activity code and notify students to register to participate on the Training Information Portal.
After organizing the activity, the units will immediately update the Attendance List of participating students on the system so that students can track their training scores and make complaints and feedback (if any) within the next 10 days.
II. Procedure for evaluating student training results
1. Student self-assessment
- Students log in to the system, check the assessment scores in the criteria recorded by the system and self-assess the remaining content. Students view the training assessment results at the Class, Faculty, and School levels and send questions and complaints (if any) according to regulations.
- Note: Click “Save Assessment” after completing the assessment; The system will display the total assessment score and expected rating; At the same time, “Save Assessment” will be changed to “Saved Assessment”; Students can check their feedback in the “Personal Notification” section. Students must complete the assessment within the notified time. If they participate in activities outside the school, students need to contact the Faculty for support in calculating training points.
2. Grade Level Assessment
– The Faculty sends a representative of the Faculty’s permanent lecturers or specialists to participate and witness the organization of the assessment of the students’ training results of the class.
– Class monitor:
- Log in to the system, record the results of students’ training assessment in class; Organize class meetings, through the self-assessment scores of each student (Meetings can be organized in person or online).
- Record the results of the class’s training assessment (The results must be agreed upon by more than half of the class, with confirmation from the attending Lecturer or Faculty Specialist). Send the minutes and list of student training scores at the Class level to the Faculty.
- Confirm the student training assessment score in the system, click “Save assessment” after completing the assessment.
3. Faculty level assessment
– Log in to the system, evaluate the training results of students in each class; Summarize the results, submit to the Faculty/Dean Evaluation Council for review and approval.
– Announce the results of training assessment to all students of the Faculty; Receive complaints, resolve, submit to the Dean for approval, and adjust the results (if any).
– Export report files and send student training results of the Faculty (with confirmation from the Dean) to the School through the Student Affairs Department.
4. School Level
– Student Affairs Department synthesizes student training results of the whole school.
– Notify students to check their training results on the system and receive complaints, coordinate with departments to resolve (if any).
– Submit student training assessment results reports to the School Council/Principal for review and recognition of student training assessment results.
– Students can view the official training assessment results published on the system. All levels can view detailed instructions for evaluating student training results at the link:
III. Time to evaluate student training results for the 2024-2025 school year

- Note:
– Only students of the 2022 and 2023 classes will conduct the assessment of student training results in semester 3 of the 2024-2025 school year. Students of the 2024 class who participate in activities in semester 3 will have their training points calculated for semester 1 of the next school year.
– Students who complete the program and graduate later than the course regulations should contact the Student Affairs Department directly for instructions on evaluating their training results in the additional semester.
– International students conduct training performance assessment according to the instructions of the Student Affairs Department at the beginning of each semester.
