Announcement of Student Exchange Program at Teikyo University, Japan, Spring Semester 2025
Pursuant to the official dispatch of the Foreign Affairs Department on the student exchange program with Teikyo University, Japan, the Faculty of Oriental Languages and Culture announces to students majoring in Japanese Studies the plan to select students for interviews to participate in the Spring 2025 semester exchange program at Teikyo University, Japan, specifically as follows:
- Number of interviews: 05 people (can be students or Master’s students)
- Number of people qualified to participate in the exchange program is: 02 people (02 students or 01 student + 01 Master’s student).
(Teikyo University representatives will conduct interviews to select two suitable candidates to participate in the exchange program).

- Exchange period: April 2025 – March 2027
- Curriculum: Students will study economics in Japanese, so priority is given to candidates who love Japanese and economics ( HUFLIT students can refer to the Faculty’s curriculum to choose suitable subjects ).
- Japanese proficiency from N2 or higher (priority).

2. Rights and obligations:
a. Benefits:
- 100% exemption of tuition and admission fees at Teikyo University;
- 100% free airfare, dormitory fees and insurance;
- Receive monthly living allowance provided by Teikyo University;
- Transcripts are issued upon completion of the program;
- Credits can be transferred for subjects corresponding to the training program of the Faculty of Oriental Languages and Culture. The maximum number of credits transferred is 25% of the total credits in the training program (bachelor’s degree). For example, if the training program consists of 100 credits, the maximum number of credits that can be transferred is 25 credits.
b. Obligations:
- Pay the application consultation support fee according to HUFLIT’s regulations.
- Pay tuition fees corresponding to the subjects considered for recognition at HUFLIT before departure.
(** Specific information on tuition and fees will be sent after students have visas) .
3. Term:
– Students register to attend the interview at the link from the date of announcement until 9:00 a.m. on August 26 , 2024 .
– After the Teikyo University representative interviews, the list of successful candidates will be announced by the Foreign Affairs Office, so candidates should note that the information when registering must be accurate.
In case of any problems arising during the exchange, candidates should immediately contact the manager at the exchange school and the Foreign Affairs Office/Faculty/Department of HUFLIT. If there is no written consent from the two partner schools and the student decides to change the form of study or cancel/stop/extend the study program at the exchange school, HUFLIT will not recognize the score and will handle it according to the academic regulations.
