The official external quality assessment evaluation of HUFLIT educational institutions

During the opening session, the Center for Educational Accreditation – Ho Chi Minh City National University (CEA-VNUHCM) was attended by esteemed individuals, including Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Ngoc Quynh Lam – Director of the Center, Head of the External Evaluation Delegation, and the staff from CEA consisted of Dr. Nguyen Quoc Chinh – Head of the Delegation, Dr. Huynh Kha Tu – Secretary, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hong Sinh, Dr. Nguyen Thi Minh Hong, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngo Dai Nghiep, and M. Pham Thi Bich.

On the side of HUFLIT, the following officials and representatives were present during the opening session: Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan – Party Secretary/ HUFLIT President, MA. Pham Thi Thanh Uyen – Vice-Chairwoman of HUFLIT Council/Vice President, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Vu – Vice President, members of the Self-Assessment Council and representatives of the faculty and students of HUFLIT.

The official evaluation took place over 5 days, from July 4th to July 8th, 2023, at HUFLIT. The activities including surveying opinions from relevant parties, inspecting and evaluating the infrastructure facilities that serve the training programs, such as laboratories, classrooms, and training areas; researching documentary evidence and related documents; conducting interviews and discussions with relevant groups both inside and outside the university; working with specialized staff in functional units.

Giving speech at the closing ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Quoc Chinh, Head of the external evaluation delegation, presented a preliminary report on the evaluation results and provided detailed recommendations for each criterion. He also gave general recommendations for HUFLIT to develop plans and implement improvements to enhance the quality. These recommendations will serve as valuable references for the future development of HUFLIT.

At the closing ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, President of HUFLIT, expresses his deep gratitude to the Center for Educational Accreditation – Ho Chi Minh City National University and the members of the expert team for their diligent and responsible work in successfully conducting the official evaluation for educational quality of HUFLIT. He emphasizes that HUFLIT highly values and will seriously consider the suggestions and recommendations of the expert team in order to further enhance the strengths, address the limitations, and develop robust action plans and programs to continuously improve the educational quality of HUFLIT in the future.

On this occasion, representatives of HUFLIT and the external evaluation delegation have signed the completion report of the official external quality assessment evaluation for the educational institution. The report is expected to be announced by the Center for Educational Accreditation – Ho Chi Minh City National University in August 2023.
