The 2024 “Words of Gratitude” series for Vietnam Teachers’ Day includes four main activities: the “Digital Mailbox” letter design activity, the “Words of Gratitude” check-in space, the “Loving Frames” photo contest, and the “Teachers’ Gratitude Day” event. Through these activities, students send meaningful wishes and express their deepest gratitude to their teachers on this special occasion.
Digital Mailbox: A Space for Heartfelt Letters
The first activity, “Design a Letter for the Digital Mailbox,” will take place from November 10 to November 16, 2024, on the HUFLIT Student Union’s community pages. This activity has attracted a lot of participation from students, who have created beautiful digital letters, both in form and content, to express stories of gratitude and to uphold the cherished tradition of “honoring teachers.” These letters serve as a way to celebrate Vietnam Teachers’ Day 2024 and highlight the importance of respecting and appreciating the teaching profession.
Creating Lasting Memories at the “Words of Gratitude” Check-in Space
The second activity, the “Words of Gratitude” check-in space, is designed to allow both students and teachers to capture memorable moments through beautiful photos. This space features a special oversized pink letter where students can express their thanks and emotions. These messages may not always include names, but they will undoubtedly reach the hearts of the teachers who have selflessly devoted themselves to guiding generations of students. This activity will run from November 15 to November 20, 2024, at both the Hoc Mon and Ba Gia campuses of HUFLIT.
Loving Frames: A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words
The “Loving Frames” photo contest is another highlight of the series, taking place on November 15, 2024, at both HUFLIT campuses. Students enthusiastically participated, capturing unique and meaningful moments. Each photo tells its own story, filled with love and gratitude. These frames serve as a symbol of warmth and affection, a tribute to the devoted teachers who have shaped the future of their students.
The grand finale of the “Words of Gratitude” series is the “Teachers’ Gratitude Day,” a special event held from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on November 19, 2024, at the Hoc Mon campus. The event will take place in a warm and welcoming atmosphere, filled with deep appreciation for the teachers. During this time, students will not only enjoy refreshments and treats but will also present adorable frames from the “Loving Frames” photo contest to their teachers. Additionally, beautiful flowers will be given as sincere tokens of respect and gratitude to the wonderful faculty members at HUFLIT.
The series of activities, rich in diversity and expression, brings together students in a collective celebration of gratitude. Through these heartfelt messages and gestures, HUFLIT students express their deepest thanks to their teachers – the dedicated guides who have led them to the shores of knowledge.
A Bright Future of Gratitude and Respect
Over the course of these four vibrant activities, the “Words of Gratitude” series has seen enthusiastic participation from the HUFLIT student body. We hope that through this series, we have conveyed our deepest appreciation and love to our teachers, who are like the dedicated “boatmen” of our journey to knowledge.
