The Faculty of Foreign Languages at HUFLIT “Ignites” the Teaching Profession for Major StudentsRecently, the Faculty of Foreign Languages organized the first professional skills seminar for students in the 2025–2026 academic year under the theme “From the Classroom to the Teaching Podium.” The program was not only a career-sharing session but also opened a profound narrative about the educational journey—exploring choices, commitment, and sustaining passion for the teaching profession in the context of modern education.
New students of the Faculty of Foreign Languages join the “Fire-Enriching” New Student Welcome Program for the 2024-2025 school year
With the desire to bring new students of the faculty a healthy playground, creating opportunities to exchange and connect through many interesting activities and games , thereby getting acquainted with the environment at the Faculty of Foreign Languages, the program “Welcoming New Students” for the 2024 – 2025 school year.
“Tiep Lua” is an annual program organized by the Youth Union of the Faculty of Foreign Languages to welcome new students to the common home of the Faculty of Foreign Languages. With this return, each new student will be a piece with their own personality and style, creating a colorful and impressive New Student Welcome Program – marking the beginning of a new journey at the Faculty of Foreign Languages. New students had the opportunity to meet and connect with new friends through grouping, teams had the opportunity to bond and join forces, enhance solidarity, and work together to overcome the difficult challenges of the program.
The program takes the theme “NON SONG DAT NUOC VIETNAM” with the meaning of connecting new students from all over Vietnam. Starting from the activity of changing the profile picture of social network accounts, naming big teams or even the games are all inspired by the 5 names of the theme “Non” , “Song” , “Dat” , “Nuoc” and Viet” .
To start a journey to conquer the challenge, New Students are free to participate in exciting physical games with 05 game stations: Capture the flag, Pass the ball, Centipede of ability, Change clothes and Find objects by picture and then proceed to Decode the secret letter . At the Welcome New Students program “Fire up” this year, the answer to the secret letter is the key for New Students to open the door to conquer the Fabric Warehouse hidden by the Organizing Committee right on Floor M, Area A and create unique costumes to conquer the program’s prize.
At each game station, you will have to overcome the corresponding challenges. Coming to the first station called “Capture the Flag” , with their agility and concentration, members of each team need to quickly capture the flag corresponding to their order number before the opposing team, thereby overcoming the challenge.
Facing the next station called “The Energy Centipede” , team members need strength, agility and coordination between members to be able to bring victory to their team.
Coming to the third station “Passing the ball” , the teams were challenged to be skillful in passing the ball to their teammates and making sure not to drop the ball. The coordination of the members created the attraction and surprise for the game.
Next, teams need patience and careful observation to overcome the “Find objects by photo” challenge at the fourth station.
Finally, teams need to combine tactics to overcome the “Relay Shirt Change” challenge at the fifth station.
Overcoming difficulties at the game stations and decoding secret messages helped the new students access and learn more knowledge and skills when participating in teamwork.
After completing the challenging game stations, the new students will move on to the next level, which is the Quick Costume Design within 02 hours and create unique costumes. After completing the fashion products, the teams will move on to the second activity: Cultural Exchange & Award Ceremony, which will take place at 14:00 on the same day.
With the spirit of playing hard and letting loose, the new students made the exchange hotter than ever with extremely unique fashion performances combined with enthusiastic cheers from the audience.
In addition, the Organizing Committee always maintains connection with new students through exchanges, Q&A as well as organizing mini games so that new students can be more open and bold when entering the university environment.
Through the activities of the “Tiep Lua” New Student Welcome Program this time, the new students certainly have made new friends, had moments of great joy after stressful study hours in the joyful and energetic atmosphere that “Tiep Lua” brings. Wishing the new students of the Faculty of Foreign Languages a new school year with impressive academic results, always pursuing their dreams and becoming excellent and talented students of the Faculty of Foreign Languages in particular and HUFLIT in general.
