Accompanying the talkshow was guest speaker Huỳnh Vĩnh Sơn (Sói Ăn Chay)—a copywriter, author, and content-creation trainer. An HUFLIT alumnus with over 16 years of experience in idea development, communication campaigns, and content creation, he is the author of notable books such as “Ý tưởng này là của chúng mình,” “90-20-30: 90 bài học vỡ lòng về những con chữ,” and “Ê Có Khi Nào.” He has also contributed to creative projects for major brands including Gojek, KFC, Shopee, Lazada, and Unilever, and founded the training programs “Sáng Tạo A Bờ Cờ” and “Bếp Chữ.”

The talkshow created an inspiring space where students gained deeper insights into the copywriting profession, the art of crafting messages through words, and real-world career stories from an industry insider. Beyond writing techniques, the program opened a journey into creative thinking, linguistic sensibility, and storytelling—core elements for producing copy rich in ideas and distinctive voice.

The session stood out for its seamless connection between professional knowledge and real-life experience. Huỳnh Vĩnh Sơn shared his career journey, methods for nurturing ideas, resolving “tricky” word problems, maintaining a unique voice in messaging, and understanding readers’ needs in today’s content-saturated era. Practical stories from advertising campaigns and personal projects helped students clearly see how copywriting operates behind familiar media products.

During the talkshow, students were guided through essential copywriter skills: observation, insight research, message building, and the subtle art of wordplay. Alongside theory-focused segments, students actively joined interactive exercises, testing ideas and creating on the spot—experiencing firsthand how a copywriter turns ideas and words into vivid, emotionally resonant stories tailored to readers.

When asked about the role of language mastery in copywriting, Vĩnh Sơn emphasized preserving the purity of Vietnamese and continuously honing linguistic ability as foundational to writing words with vitality. In his view, a copywriter needs not only creative ideas but also sensitivity in word choice and sentence structure so messages remain both clear and compelling.

Colleagues often compare her to Mother Au Co with a hundred children. Yet to become the “mother” of the lecture hall she is today, she went through a profound shift in thinking that completely changed a teaching philosophy built over more than 30 years.
