The transformation journey of journalism in the 4.0 revolution
The talk show “Journalism in the New Era” has two main parts: “Imprint” and “Pen” Mark. The “Imprint” part focuses on portraying the core values of journalism through practical stories, emphasizing the role of journalists in reflecting and orienting public opinion. The “Pen” part highlights the portrait of journalists in the technology era with keywords: Big Data, Virtual Assistant – AI, Creative Race, …
Journalist Minh Thuy further emphasized that in the context of the technology boom, especially the strong development of artificial intelligence, journalists need to be alert to the benefits that AI brings. Journalist Minh Thuy believes that AI can support reporters in searching, synthesizing data or processing technology, but the core role of journalists is professional ethics and responsibility before the law. “ AI is developing and it can support other fields. However, for journalism, we should not apply too much Virtual Assistant – AI because the most important thing when doing journalism is that we must take criminal responsibility. It cannot replace humans because mainstream newspapers need to have truly accurate and authentic information ,” Journalist Minh Thuy affirmed.
The talkshow “Journalism in the New Age” concluded with many meaningful messages about the role of the pen in the digital age.
