The “Legend of the Truong Son Fire Line” History Research Contest organized by the International Relations & Communication Faculty Union not only brings an interesting academic space, but also an emotional “time travel”, helping students relive the heroic history of the nation. Through each round, each contestant is transformed into a “historical storyteller”, spreading the spirit of patriotism and lighting the flame of pride in the hearts of today’s HUFLIT youth generation.
The Qualifying Round of the “Legend of the Truong Son Fire Line” History Competition officially took place on April 13, 2025 at the Conference Room – Su Van Hanh Campus, with a unique and attractive “station running” competition format. Although commonly seen in the medical sector, this model was “transformed” into a lively journey of knowledge, where 10 teams had to overcome a series of multiple-choice questions to explore events, characters and historical stories surrounding the Great Victory of Spring 1975.
The dramatic atmosphere and the spirit of competition created a colorful qualifying round. As a result, the 6 best teams: The Glassless Car Squad; LVL; Immortal Vietnamese Fire; Blue Lotus; Manifest and Truong Son Son entered the Final Round, receiving the attention and enthusiastic cheers from the whole school.
The final night of the “Legend of the Truong Son Fire Line” contest was truly explosive with intense competition and a series of emotional moments from the teams. Not simply a knowledge contest, the program is also a comprehensive journey of challenges, when the contestants must apply their thinking, presentation skills and team spirit to overcome three rounds: Starting the fire – Lighting the fire – Spreading the fire.
In the Ignition round, the teams took turns “firing” with multiple choice questions and flipping puzzle pieces, requiring smooth coordination and quick reflexes. In the Ignition round, the atmosphere became even hotter when the teams entered the presentation with profound topics revolving around the historic Truong Son route – a place that once marked the nation’s glorious feats. And in the Ignition round, the teams directly faced in-depth questions from the Jury, demonstrating their mettle, critical thinking ability and admirable confidence.
At the end of the emotional competition night, the highest positions of the “Legend of the Truong Son Fire Line” Contest were awarded to the teams that deserved their impressive and courageous performances:
First Prize: Green Lotus Team
Second Prize: LVL Team
Third Prize: Immortal Vietnamese Fire Team
Encouragement Prizes: Son Ca Truong Son Team, Glassless Vehicle Squad and Manifest.
The “Legend of the Truong Son Fire Line” History Competition is not only an intellectual playground for HUFLIT students, but also an emotional journey that helps the young generation touch the sacred historical values of the nation. Through each dramatic and creative competition, the flame of patriotism and national pride is strongly ignited, spreading in every look, smile and answer of the contestants.
The explosive moments on stage not only mark the bravery and understanding but also demonstrate the resilient spirit and desire to continue the glorious tradition of their ancestors. It is this spirit that has contributed to nurturing a generation of HUFLIT students who are dynamic, confident and always ready to preserve and promote the national historical values in the new era.
