Beyond a cultural exchange experience, the meeting between HUFLIT students and graduate students from National Kaohsiung Normal University (Taiwan) opened new pathways for HUFLIT students in their international academic journey — particularly opportunities to explore postgraduate programs in Taiwan, one of Asia’s leading educational destinations.

HUFLIT welcomed Prof. Lee Leong Sze along with a group of 30 graduate students from the Graduate Program of Southeast Asian Studies, National Kaohsiung Normal University (NKNU), Taiwan, to a cultural and academic exchange between NKNU faculty and students and HUFLIT students.

During the meeting, HUFLIT students had the opportunity to gain deeper insights into the learning environment and postgraduate research directions in Taiwan. Representatives from NKNU shared information about scholarship programs, postgraduate study opportunities, and various forms of support available for international students.

M.A. Dang Thi Hue Tran (Deputy Head of the Faculty of Foreign Languages – HUFLIT), presented a souvenir to Prof. Lee Leong Sze, representative of the graduate student delegation from National Kaohsiung Normal University.

The exchange atmosphere became even more vibrant as students from both universities participated in cultural experience activities together. Under the guidance of Mr. Tran Dinh Tuan, M.A. – Lecturer at the Faculty of Foreign Languages, HUFLIT, the NKNU delegation was introduced to Vietnam’s historical landmarks, cultural heritage, and everyday life. In particular, the presentation on traditional Vietnamese costumes throughout different historical periods captured great interest. The moment NKNU students donned the Áo Dài, Áo Tứ Thân, and Áo Nhật Bình created a scene that was both graceful and heartfelt.
