The LOTTE Scholarship Award Ceremony is held twice a year. Similar to the LOTTE Scholarship Award Ceremony 1 in 2020, the LOTTE Group also sent the certificates and LOTTE Scholarship Award Ceremony 1 in 2021 to the school and delivered them to the students instead of holding a direct Scholarship Award Ceremony due to the complicated developments of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Manh Ha – Vice Principal of HUFLIT, on behalf of the LOTTE Scholarship Organizing Committee and the School Board, presented scholarships to 8 outstanding representatives from the school’s faculties. The selection criteria are 3rd and 4th year students with the best academic performance in the course; or those with difficult circumstances but still overcoming difficulties to rise up in life with good academic results.

Each scholarship worth 400 USD, it can be said, is an extremely valuable source of support for students, especially in the context of the Covid-19 epidemic that has had a significant impact on the lives of each family and society. Hopefully, the students who are honored to receive this scholarship will always be confident in themselves, make great contributions to promoting the development of Vietnam – Korea relations in the future, and will become bright gems for Vietnam by working hard and not losing sight of their dreams.
On the part of the students, all of them expressed their sincere gratitude to LOTTE Group, the Scholarship Fund as well as thanked Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages and Information Technology in general and HUFLIT teachers in particular for always creating conditions, supporting and accompanying them on their learning path over the years.
Since entering the Vietnamese market in 1998, LOTTE Group has established 16 subsidiaries in diverse fields such as goods distribution, restaurants, hotels, movies, entertainment… which provide internship and employment opportunities for students after graduation.
