HUFLIT announces the guaranteed threshold for admission quality based on the method of evaluating the high school graduation exam results in 2023On July 24, 2023, the Admission Council of HUFLIT announced the guaranteed threshold for admission quality based on the method of evaluating the high school graduation exam results in 2023. This threshold is applicable to 18 undergraduate majors under the regular system, following the admission evaluation process regulated by the Ministry of Education and Training. The admission score threshold ranges from 15 to 16 points.

Results of the “Students creating podcast” competition
With the aim of fostering students’ creative thinking and enhancing their soft skills in various ways, the Faculty of Oriental Languages and Cultures organized the “Students creating podcast” competition in 2023.
The competition lasted for over a month and attracted more than 100 students who submitted their entries in both individual and group formats. Out of 50 podcast entries, the organization committee selected 6 outstanding podcasts to present in the final round, held on May 4th, 2023, at the Su Van Hanh Campus – HUFLIT.

Throughout the month, participating teams made efforts to develop various topics related to soft skills such as communication, time management, creativity, problem-solving, teamwork, active listening, and emotional management. They created captivating and fascinating podcast news, both in terms of content and presentation.




The “Battlers” team emerged as the first-place winner, impressing the judges with their news report on the silent sacrifices of “white-clad warriors” during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The second-place prize was awarded to the “Super Energy” team, whose podcast titled “Listening and Understanding” emphasized that listening is not just an ability but a skill that can be cultivated during study hours to enhance focus and grasp lessons more effectively.

The third-place prizes respectively went to the teams led by Ngo Thanh Phuong and Nguyen Thi Lan Huong. Both teams successfully impressed the judges and audience with their excellent performances.

Through this competition, students experienced the process of creating podcasts, from researching and selecting topics to writing, recording, and editing scripts. It is believed that these experiences from the competition will further enrich their knowledge and skills.
