HUFLIT representatives received LOTTE scholarships, first batch, 2019
The ceremony took place solemnly with the participation of distinguished guests: Mr. Wee Joon Seok – Deputy Consulate General of Korea in Ho Chi Minh City, leaders of companies under LOTTE Group (General Director of Lotte Legend Hotel Saigon, General Director of Lotte Mart, General Director of Lotte Department Store, General Director of Lotte Cinema, General Director of Lotte Advanced Materials, General Director of Lotte E-commerce, General Director of Lotte Logistics) and representatives of leaders, department staff of universities, students and parents.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Wee Joon Seok – Deputy Consul General of the Republic of Korea in Ho Chi Minh City said that since the two countries established diplomatic relations in 1992, Korea has been the leading investor in Vietnam. Korean enterprises have contributed to bringing the people of the two countries closer together, specifically by promoting scholarship activities. He also thanked the efforts of Lotte Group for helping students realize their dreams.
This time, Dr. Tran Thanh Nhan – Vice Principal in charge of school operations had the honor to speak on behalf of all university leaders present at the ceremony. She said that over the years, HUFLIT has been pleased to receive support and assistance from Korean educational organizations and benefactors, especially from the LOTTE Scholarship Fund. This is an extremely valuable gift for each student, creating a strong motivation to help them strive to excel in their studies, contributing significantly to the goal of improving the quality of training of the school.

Lotte Foundation was established by Lotte Group Chairman – Mr. Shin Kyuk Ho in 1983 to create a great source of motivation for students to continue to strive and practice.
