B/ Detailed introduction:
In the era of the 4.0 revolution, the fields of media, public relations, and international relations have become dynamic and highly competitive in various sectors, including journalism, culture, education, business, and trade. This has resulted in increased career opportunities for professionals in the public relations sector. In response to this context, the Public Relations program at HUFLIT emphasizes practical training, bridging the gap between theory and practice, and provides a vibrant and proactive learning environment for students to develop their skills and adapt to the fast-paced world of media and PR.

Characteristics of the program:
The Public Relations program at HUFLIT equips students with a solid foundation of knowledge in Vietnam’s economic, cultural, and international relations, as well as those of other countries. Additionally, it provides in-depth knowledge of corporate communications and event management. The curriculum includes practical skills such as communication, international relations, customer relations, journalism, television, advertising, and also hones language and computer skills, enabling students to adapt to diverse working environments in both domestic and international communication and PR fields.

Career opportunities:
– Become an event organizer specialist, PR specialist at agencies, businesses, organizations within and outside the country.
– Work in foreign affairs departments, customer relations, public relations specialists, and develop public relations plans for organizations, individuals, and businesses.
– Become an internal media specialist, corporate communication specialist for companies and multinational corporations, international conglomerates.
– Work as an editor, reporter, staff involved in producing media products for media agencies, communication companies.

Suitable qualities for the field of study:

– Dynamic, proactive, passionate about organizing, planning, building team activities, team management, community activities.
– Have social knowledge, passionate about working in the fields of media, public relations, foreign affairs, customer relations, business cooperation, and event organization both domestically and internationally.
– Enjoy negotiating, communicating, and building relationships with partners, businesses, the press, and television; not afraid of difficulties and challenges.
– Having a good proficiency in foreign languages (English) is an advantage.
