HUFLIT announces the guaranteed threshold for admission quality based on the method of evaluating the high school graduation exam results in 2023On July 24, 2023, the Admission Council of HUFLIT announced the guaranteed threshold for admission quality based on the method of evaluating the high school graduation exam results in 2023. This threshold is applicable to 18 undergraduate majors under the regular system, following the admission evaluation process regulated by the Ministry of Education and Training. The admission score threshold ranges from 15 to 16 points.

Preliminary survey on the quality evaluation of 03 training programs at HCMC University of Foreign Languages – Information Technology
On January 21st, 2022, the External Evaluation Expert Team (EEET) from the Center for Education Accreditation (CEA) – Ho Chi Minh City National University (CEA-VNUHCM) conducted a preliminary survey to assess the quality of 03 undergraduate training programs at HCMC University of Foreign Languages – Information Technology (HUFLIT) including: Information Technology, English Studies and Business Administration.
During their time at HUFLIT, the External Evaluation Team (EET) visited the training facilities of the 03 programs, including the department offices and interview rooms to prepare for the official evaluation. They also conducted a preliminary review of the self-assessment files, documents, and interviews with relevant people for the self-assessment reports.

In the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hong Sinh, the representative of the EET, introduced the objectives of the preliminary survey and the team’s commitment to work in accordance with CEA’s principles of “Objective – Quality – Transparency – Professionalism” throughout the evaluation process. The EET and HUFLIT agreed on the required evidence, interviewees, the official survey schedule, and the working principles.

On behalf of HUFLIT, Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan – HUFLIT President, expressed gratitude to the EET for their time in evaluating the 03 programs. He expressed confidence that the team of experts from the CEA would provide valuable feedback and recommendations to further enhance the quality assurance work of HUFLIT. Moreover, Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan emphasized that HUFLIT would fully support the team and strictly comply with the COVID-19 prevention regulations during the upcoming official evaluation.
