In October and November 2024, the Union – Hall organized the Training Program for Union – Association Cadres for the 2024 – 2025 school year for Union – Association cadres from the Branch, Association level to the Faculty and School levels. The opening of the series of activities was the training session on “First Aid Skills” taking place on October 28, 2024 at the Hall on the 6th floor, Su Van Hanh campus (HUFLIT) with the participation of nearly 300 Union – Association cadres.

Dr. Pham Dinh Quyet – Deputy Head of Planning and Finance Department, 115 Emergency Center shared about the importance of timely first aid, steps and notes to perform an emergency and basic knowledge in first aid for emergency cases such as burns, open wounds, …, especially cardiac arrest.

Doctors advise students on the principles they need to know when giving first aid.
This is one of the useful skill sets that each individual needs to equip themselves with to help them deal with many emergency situations, help their relatives as well as those around them when unexpected incidents occur. In addition, participating staff also practice basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation with a model under the guidance of Master, Doctor Pham Dinh Quyet and teaching assistants.

Following the topic “First Aid Skills” is the training content for the Youth Union – Association cadres at the Faculty and School levels with the name of the training topic “The trap of “color revolution” in cyberspace: identification and fight” . “Color revolution” – one of the forms of “Peaceful evolution strategy”, is currently a hot issue of social concern, they infiltrate life with sophisticated tricks of hostile forces, causing disorder in social order and safety. Therefore, it is necessary to have awareness preparation for the team of Youth Union – Association cadres – those who are considered the leading flag leading the youth movement.

The training session on “The trap of “color revolution” in cyberspace: identification and combat” took place on the morning of November 2, 2024 at the Conference Room, Su Van Hanh campus (HUFLIT) with the participation of more than 150 Youth Union and Association officials at the Faculty and School levels.
With the sharing of Colonel Ton That Quynh Ai – Reporter of the Ho Chi Minh City National Defense and Security Council, Former Political Commissar of the Military Command of District 1 , the cadres participating in the training have initially identified the forms of “color revolution”, especially on social networks, the dangers they bring to the order and safety of the people, thereby proactively avoiding the enemy’s plots, promptly promoting in advising and warning people around about “color revolution”, avoiding making unnecessary mistakes due to lack of understanding and lack of attention to the political situation of the country.

From the afternoon of November 2, 2024 until the afternoon of November 3, 2024, the School Youth Union organized the “Exchange and Connection – Practical Experience” skills camp at the Youth Outdoor Activity Center of Ho Chi Minh City (Can Gio District) with the participation of more than 150 Youth Union – Association officials at the Faculty and School levels. At this camp, the officials participated in many interesting activities such as the teambuilding activity “Entering the camp” , the activity “Campfire” including cultural exchange performances prepared by the Youth Union – Association of the Faculty, the Clubs and the award ceremony for the units that had excellent performances in the “Entering the camp” activity .

In addition to exchanging and bonding with each other, the officers also participated in the “Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue” training course under the support and supervision of the police officers of the Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Police Team, Can Gio District Police. The training course included the following contents: theoretical and practical instructions on using CO2 gas fire extinguishers and powder fire extinguishers to extinguish fires; instructions on manually locking burning gas cylinders and escaping from high-rise buildings with ropes. The interesting experiences brought useful knowledge to the officers participating in the training.

Within the framework of the training program, the HUFLIT Youth Union – Association officials participating in the training came and offered incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs at the President Ho Chi Minh Memorial, the Rung Sac Martyrs Memorial in the grounds of the Rung Sac – Can Gio Heroic Martyrs Temple, which was just inaugurated in July 2024 during the Journey to the Source. The activity was organized to educate the tradition for HUFLIT Youth Union – Association officials, and at the same time express the spirit of drinking water, remembering its source, and deep gratitude to those who have sacrificed for the independence of the nation.

In order to reach a large number of Youth Union and Association officials at all levels, the School Youth Union organized the “Education work on the movement “Youth volunteers to protect the Fatherland”” with 2 contents: watching the video clip of the “Education work on the movement “Youth volunteers to protect the Fatherland”” – Content of the Conference to study, learn and thoroughly grasp the Resolution of the 12th National Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, term 2022 – 2027 and carry out the harvest. The training topic was organized online on Moodle – HUFLIT’s online learning system to meet the study and work schedule of Youth Union and Association officials at all levels. The online training lasted from November 30, 2024 to December 30, 2024.
