Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan – HUFLIT Principal spoke at the meeting

The meeting took place in a friendly atmosphere, the two sides exchanged contents and expressed confidence in future cooperation. Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan – HUFLIT Principal said that in addition to professional teaching collaboration, the school always creates conditions and strives to take care of students’ lives. In addition, the school also regularly creates conditions for students to have more opportunities to contact with practical working environments, thereby improving students’ experiences while still in school. Therefore, cooperation with the Consulate General of Hungary in Ho Chi Minh City plays a very important role in organizing and implementing academic activities such as thematic reports for students, introducing information on studying abroad – scholarships to promote Hungary’s education, student, lecturer and specialist exchange programs as well as cultural exchange programs.

the Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship

Also at the meeting, Ms. Szilvia Szojka shared information about the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Program launched in 2013 to support international students studying at Hungarian educational institutions. This is the most prestigious higher education scholarship program of the Hungarian Government with 200 scholarships each year for Vietnamese students.

Consulate General of Hungary commits to be a bridge to help HUFLIT in the future

In addition, the Hungarian Consulate General is committed to being a bridge to help HUFLIT connect with Hungarian educational institutions to promote cooperation related to academic research, student, lecturer and specialist exchange programs as well as cultural exchange programs. In particular, the Vietnamese language is gradually becoming popular in Hungary because the Vietnamese community is increasingly expanding, causing the demand for learning this language to increase. This opens up a new direction of cooperation for HUFLIT because Vietnamese studies is also a strength of the School.

Hopefully, the above cooperation activities will be a premise to help students gain more learning experiences, open up opportunities for scholarships, internships, training and job search in the future, and at the same time contribute to improving the teaching quality of HUFLIT.
