In the 2025–2026 academic year, the Youth Union – Student Association of the Faculty of Business Administration coordinated with the Hòa Hưng Ward Voluntary Blood Donation Mobilisation Board and the Ho Chi Minh City Humanitarian Blood Donation Centre to deploy the Voluntary Blood Donation programme “Trao gửi yêu thương – Gieo mầm hạnh phúc” with 02 rounds taking place at the end of October 2025 and the end of March 2026, creating conditions for a large number of staff, lecturers and students to participate.

The received blood source is transferred to the blood bank for screening, preservation and timely support of patients in urgent situations. Behind each unit of blood is a story, a hope and an opportunity given, which created the deep humanistic value of the programme.

The spreading power from simple good deeds

Not only an annual activity, the programme continues to affirm the role of HUFLIT youth in spreading the spirit of compassion and responsibility to the community. The message “A small action – A big meaning” was realised through concrete actions, contributing to creating the image of HUFLIT students living responsibly, knowing how to share and spreading positive values to society.

Each person participating in the programme carries their own story and motivation, but they all meet at a common point: the desire to share and contribute to saving patients in need of blood.

Continuously improving, enhancing the participant experience

An outstanding point in this academic year is the continued application of the “Giọt máu vàng” online registration platform, helping to simplify the participation process. Right from the registration step, participants can save waiting time and easily monitor the next steps.

The blood donation process is organised tightly, from health check, blood-pressure measurement, testing to the donation process and post-donation care. All take place under the dedicated guidance of the Organising Committee, ensuring safety, science and convenience.

In parallel, communication work was deployed early and synchronously on many channels, helping information quickly reach students, creating favourable conditions to register and proactively arrange time to participate. Throughout the programme, the Organising Committee together with the collaborator team were always on standby to support, coordinating closely with the team of doctors from the Ho Chi Minh City Humanitarian Blood Donation Centre, contributing to bringing a seamless, professional and safe experience to participants.

Voluntary blood donation therefore is no longer simply an activity, but becomes a connection point of hearts that know how to share. Each drop of blood given is not only a giving, but also a part of hope kept, an opportunity for life to continue to be extended somewhere.

It is these very values that will be the foundation for humanistic activities to continue to be maintained and spread in the future. From small but meaningful actions, the mutual-love spirit of the HUFLIT community will increasingly be replicated, bringing more opportunities for life, belief and hope for the lives in need of help.

  • Proud to be HUFLITers #07 | M.A. Tran My Uyen – A lectern where a teacher wishes only to “watch her children grow up”
At the HUFLIT Faculty of Foreign Languages, M.A. Tran My Uyen (Vice Dean) goes by many names. Some call her “Ms My”; her students call her “mother”. Colleagues often compare her to Mother Au Co with a hundred children. Yet to become the “mother” of the lecture hall she is today, she went through a profound shift in thinking that completely changed a teaching philosophy built over more than 30 years.

The new cybersecurity regulations taking effect on 1 July 2026 not only help complete the legal framework but also drive demand for talent in cybersecurity. This is also the moment when the discipline becomes a promising choice for young people who love technology and information security.
  • “GenZ Major Insights 2026” – Episode 9: Boundless Journeys with HUFLIT’s Tourism and Hospitality Programs
Many students choose the Tourism and Hospitality field simply because they love to travel. But passion alone is not enough to pursue this field in the long run. What matters more is understanding the nature of the discipline, its professional requirements, and the qualities needed to grow in a professional service environment.
