Detailed instructions for reviewing transcripts at HUFLIT
In recent years, considering the results of academic records has become the priority choice of many candidates because of its advantages: easy admission, high admission rate, and reduced pressure when participating in the high school graduation exam. At HUFLIT , this is also the choice of many young people who love the majors at the School. So what is needed to consider academic records? Let’s explore with HUFLIT!
1. What is the form of transcript review?
Considering academic records is one of many methods of university and college admission today. This is a method of using the cumulative academic scores of semesters, all 3 years of high school or grade 12 according to the subject combination for admission.
The advantage of this method is that it helps students reduce the pressure of studying, taking exams or being affected by external factors such as health and accidents. This is also a great opportunity for candidates with good academic results in high school, to be able to study their favorite major in a suitable environment.
Depending on the regulations, each school may have different criteria for considering transcripts, which can be the average score of 4 semesters, or 5 semesters or even 6 semesters. At HUFLIT, candidates only need to apply for 2 semesters based on the following 2 specific methods:
1/ Method of reviewing high school transcript results: Semester 2 of grade 11 and Semester 1 of grade 12.
2/ Method of reviewing 12th grade high school transcript results.

3. Notes when considering admission based on academic records
To be able to apply quickly and conveniently, candidates need to clearly understand the following notes:
3.1 Understand the admission requirements
Before applying for admission by transcript at schools, besides understanding the process and what documents are required for transcript review? Candidates need to know the admission requirements of each school and each major. Depending on each school, there may be different admission requirements, such as:
- General requirements: high school graduate or equivalent
- Special conditions: candidates must meet the minimum score threshold as required by the school, or have a foreign language certificate or aptitude certificate as required by the field of study.
- Medical and Pharmaceutical majors with good or excellent academic performance, etc.
Candidates need to carefully read the admission information of the schools to choose the admission method suitable to their abilities and conditions.
At HUFLIT, candidates need to meet 2 conditions for admission:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- High school transcript scores of 3 admission subjects from 18.0 or higher.

3.2 Make the most of your subject combination options
Candidates can choose many subject combinations for admission. Choosing the right subject combination will help candidates increase their chances of admission.
Candidates should consider their own strengths and weaknesses to choose an advantageous subject combination. In addition, candidates should also refer to the benchmark scores of majors in recent years to make an appropriate choice.
3.3 Application submission time
The time for submitting university transcripts for admission will vary from school to school, depending on the specific regulations of each school. However, in general, the time for submitting university transcripts for admission usually takes place between January and August each year.
Applications for admission based on transcripts are usually submitted in person or by post. Candidates need to follow the admission information of the schools to grasp the exact time to submit applications for admission based on transcripts.
At HUFLIT, the time for receiving transcripts for admission consideration is from March to August 2024. The specific time will be announced by the school on the official website.
3.4 Submit your application early
Submitting your application early is an advantage for candidates, because the first rounds of admission scores will be “easier” than the last rounds. Besides, if there are any errors in your application, there will be time to correct them.

3.5 Prepare a backup plan
Candidates need to prepare a backup plan in case they are not admitted based on their academic records. Candidates can choose to be admitted based on their high school exam scores, their National High School Exam results, or other methods such as direct admission, priority admission, and admission based on the school’s own exam.
With the above information, HUFLIT has answered the question “ What is needed to consider transcripts ?”. Currently, universities are applying the form of admission by transcripts in parallel with other forms.
