HUFLITers of the Faculty of International Relations & Communication Shine with Professional Bearing at the Reception – Diplomacy Practice Party

As a highly applied course unit in the International Relations training programme at HUFLIT, Reception – Diplomacy not only equips students with knowledge of diplomatic etiquette and international conduct standards but also helps students train a professional bearing, communication skills and event organisation.

Recently, HUFLITers of the Faculty of International Relations & Communication had the opportunity for students to comprehensively apply knowledge and skills to practice. Taking inspiration from the image of light in the universe and each individual’s journey of growth, the evening party with the theme “Cosmic Lumina Milestone” was opened as a symbolic space, where each student is like a star carrying its own source of light that is gradually being awakened and spread.

Thereby, the programme conveys a message about the development potential and integration ability of International Relations students in the context of globalisation, while also marking a meaningful milestone in the journey of studying and training.

The party took place in a luxurious yet cosy space, harmoniously and meticulously arranged, bringing a sophisticated and professional whole. From the reception process, guiding guests to check in, arranging seating to coordinating the programme, everything was carried out methodically, reflecting the students’ serious preparation and spirit of responsibility.

Within the framework of the programme, MA. Hà Thị Nga – the lecturer in charge of the Reception Diplomacy course unit had profound shares, recognising the students’ serious learning spirit, professional manner and proactiveness in the process of honing and applying specialised knowledge.

On this occasion, she sent her wishes to the students, expecting that the experiences from the course unit would become a solid foundation for the career path ahead. At the same time, she expressed the wish that each student would continue to bring out their confidence, adaptability together with a progressive spirit to step by step perfect themselves and affirm their own mark on the path they choose.

Besides the formal etiquette imbued with diplomatic colour, the programme also brought many rich activities, contributing to creating a lively and connected atmosphere. The exchange performances, minigames and especially the King & Queen contest attracted the enthusiastic participation of students, bringing many memorable moments.

The moments of raising a glass in celebration took place extremely naturally, creating a sophisticated mark for the entire party, while also spreading the spirit of connection and companionship among the members of the class. The King & Queen contest became an outstanding highlight of the programme when the contestants not only showed confidence and performance bearing but also brought creative, graceful and full-of-character performances. Through each round, students showed flexible adaptability in communication, while also spreading positive energy, all making up an emotional and meaningful party night.

Closing the programme, MA. Hà Thị Nga together with the collective of students captured shared moments in a joyful and energetic atmosphere. After the process of serious preparation and deployment, “Cosmic Lumina Milestone” not only brought a real-world experience but also left many positive marks, contributing to affirming the practice-tied training effectiveness of the International Relations field at HUFLIT. This is an opportunity for students to look back on a memorable study journey, recognising their own efforts and growth throughout the path just passed.
