HUFLITers Seeking “High-Value” Startup Ideas
Entrepreneurship is not just about a groundbreaking, creative idea; it is also a journey of learning, gaining experience, and gradually turning dreams into reality. The 2025 edition of the “HUFLIT Startups – Entrepreneurship Ideas” competition returns with a fresh look and exciting rounds, providing a valuable playground for students to test themselves, develop creative thinking, business planning skills, and a bold, action-oriented mindset.
In an era of continuous innovation and development, the spirit of entrepreneurship and creative thinking has become a key factor enabling students to enhance their competitiveness, apply knowledge in practice, and shape the future. To encourage innovative thinking and an entrepreneurial mindset among students, the Youth Union – Student Association of the Faculty of Economics and Finance officially launched the 2025 “HUFLIT Startups – Entrepreneurship Ideas” competition – an intellectual playground for young people with the ambition to create value and push beyond their limits.
Under the theme “Innovative Startups – Guiding the Future,” the competition offers an opportunity for students from HUFLIT’s faculties and other universities in the city to interact, learn, and present creative solutions across diverse fields such as technology, education, services, environment, and society. Beyond presenting ideas, participants also have the chance to develop skills in presentation, critical thinking, business modeling, and teamwork.
Ignite Passion – Breakthrough Ideas – Turn Vision into Success
After the launch period, the competition received enthusiastic attention from students both inside and outside the University. The Organizing Committee recorded 30 submitted ideas, reflecting the creativity, proactive spirit, and desire of the younger generation to contribute to the future. In the Qualifying Round, participating teams submitted their startup proposals for the judges to review and evaluate based on creativity, feasibility, and the uniqueness of each idea.
From initial, unfinished ideas to fully developed business plans, the competition became a journey for each team to push boundaries, learn how to persuade, debate, optimize solutions, and boldly step out of their “comfort zone.” The message “dare to think, dare to act” was consistently conveyed, providing motivation for potential ideas to be nurtured and developed.
The five teams with the most outstanding projects were selected to advance to the challenging Realization Round, transforming their ideas into concrete products or models: Đại Đại (Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages and Information Technology – HUFLIT), WILL (Van Lang University), Xinh (HUFLIT), Rồng Phía Sau (Viet My College), and Heart (HUFLIT).
