The Faculty of Foreign Languages at HUFLIT “Ignites” the Teaching Profession for Major StudentsRecently, the Faculty of Foreign Languages organized the first professional skills seminar for students in the 2025–2026 academic year under the theme “From the Classroom to the Teaching Podium.” The program was not only a career-sharing session but also opened a profound narrative about the educational journey—exploring choices, commitment, and sustaining passion for the teaching profession in the context of modern education.
HUFLIT STRENGTHENS COOPERATION WITH UNIVERSITIES AND ENTERPRISES IN TAIWAN
Recently, the delegation of Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages and Information Technology (HUFLIT), led by Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, visited and worked with 6 universities and large enterprises in Taiwan.
The meeting and discussion aimed to strengthen cooperation between HUFLIT and other schools in the fields of training, scientific research, student and lecturer exchange, as well as cooperation activities with businesses and community service. The HUFLIT delegation included Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Principal of the school; M.A. Nguyen Thi Thieu, Head of the Foreign Affairs Department and M.A. Bui Thi Thanh Truc, Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages.
During the visit and working session, the delegation discussed strengthening contents and activities with partners such as National Formosa University (NFU), Jinwen University of Science and Technology (JUST), Kunshan University (KSU), Fooyin University (FU) and Chinese Culture University (CCU). On this occasion, HUFLIT has strongly expanded cooperation with Taiwanese enterprises, laying an important foundation for integrating advanced technology into training programs.
HUFLIT has signed a cooperation agreement with MICROIP, a leading enterprise providing solutions and automation tools for semiconductor chip (IC) design for major semiconductor manufacturers in the world. This cooperation focuses on strategic areas such as semiconductor technology, artificial intelligence, integrated circuit design, training of high-quality human resources, establishing research and development centers, software development and implementing course certification programs.
The important fields and strengths of the partner schools are also the fields that HUFLIT is particularly interested in and wishes to expand cooperation, including: industrial management, health management, health and beauty care, tourism – hospitality, marketing and logistics, and many other fields.
Currently, HUFLIT has established cooperative relationships with more than 10 universities and enterprises in Taiwan. Through these partners, the school has implemented many programs such as student exchange, talent internship, lecturer training, and especially some HUFLIT lecturers are studying postgraduate programs at Taiwanese partner schools. This visit and working session promises to bring new momentum to the cooperation between the parties, contributing to the implementation of the development strategy and promoting the school’s international cooperation activities in the coming time.
