Organised for the first time, the HUFLIT Talent Arena quickly became the meeting point of HUFLITers passionate about art, from singing and dancing to performing diverse forms. Not stopping at performing, the competition opened a journey of training stage mettle, nurturing confidence and the spirit of daring to challenge. Through each methodically invested round, the programme left a mark with polished, emotional performances bearing the deep personal imprint of the learners.

The Audition Round: Unlocking talent and stage-serving mettle

As an important opening leg, the Audition Round brought a multicoloured art picture with a series of impressive performances, where each contestant confidently expressed their personality, own quality and passion on stage.

Each performance was a unique piece, contributing to creating a lively appearance for the round. From performance skills, creative thinking, performance style to the mettle of mastering the stage, all were fully expressed by the contestants through each competitive moment.

Not only competing with talent, the contestants also showed a serious spirit, meticulous investment and determination to conquer challenges. Each performance carried the aspiration to break through, the desire to create outstanding creative values and leave their own mark in the hearts of the Jury and the audience.

In particular, the 03 most excellent performances received the Golden Ticket, officially advancing straight to the next round, opening a promising conquest journey ahead.

Here, the performances were evaluated based on many criteria such as skill, creativity, performance style and the ability to master the stage. Quite a few contestants made a strong impression right from the first minutes, showing serious investment and a highly determined spirit.

The Confrontation Round – Facing off and breaking through

After the Audition round, the 24 most excellent contestants officially entered the Confrontation Round with dramatic direct face-offs.

In this round, the contestants had to prove their real ability through 2 competition formats: Team Formation and Solo.

In the Team Formation format, 24 contestants drew lots randomly to form 04 competing teams: TINH HOA, APEX & 4 ANH CHỒNG, KHÁT VỌNG and TRỘM VÍA. Besides the Solo format, which helps contestants shine with talent and technique. This format helps “unbox” outstanding talents through challenges that require contestants to prove their ability to coordinate between different personalities to create an impressive performance while still keeping their own personal colour.

It was the competitive pressure and the high requirement for teamwork that became the motivation for the performances to explode more strongly, bringing energetic, creative and emotional performances. Many performances left a deep impression thanks to the harmonious combination of performance technique and the own colour of each member in the team.

The GroundBreaking Round – The breakthrough stage of the TOP 12

At the “Floor 6 Cathedral”, the TOP 12 most excellent contestants of the HUFLIT Talent Arena officially reached an important milestone in the journey to conquer the stage – the GroundBreaking Round. This is no longer simply a round to show talent, but a dramatic sprint race to find the Champion title of the competition.

In this round, the professionalism and entertainment value of the performances were pushed to a level in both content and form. From the staging idea, choice of music and costume to the way of storytelling on stage, all were carefully taken care of to bring polished and emotional performances. The contestants continued to compete with each other through 02 parts: Face-off and Solo.

No longer simply performing, each performance at the GroundBreaking Round was a story, where contestants conveyed their personality, message and their own development journey after the previous rounds – from potential faces in the Audition Round to individuals with mettle, ready to conquer bigger challenges ahead.

Evaluating the quality of the contestants, the Jury recognised the clear progress through each round, especially in the ability to master the stage and staging thinking. Many contestants were noted to have known how to exploit their personal strengths, build performances with highlights and create their own mark.

Besides, the Jury also gave professional feedback to help the contestants improve further, such as controlling emotions, handling technique stably and investing in the depth of content.

The “quintessences” of the season blossom

The moment of announcing the final result brought many levels of emotion, from the bursting happiness of the winners to the tears of regret but full of pride of the remaining contestants. All contributed to creating a complete final night, closing a colourful and memorable HUFLIT Talent Arena season.

• Impressive Performance Style Prize: Contestant Đặng Thế Sơn – Faculty of International Relations and Communication
• Most Beloved Contestant: Contestant Dương Gia Huy – Faculty of Information Technology

Notably, this year’s season recorded a special precedent when the Runner-up title was awarded to 02 excellent contestants/competing teams, contestant Trần Thị Như Tường and the MYsTiqUe group, instead of a single prize as the announced rules. This decision expresses the Jury’s recognition of the even, outstanding and convincing quality of both performances, when both deserved the highest position after the Champion.

More than a competition, the HUFLIT Talent Arena truly became a journey of growth for the souls who love art, where talent is recognised, passion is nurtured and mettle is forged. This will be the foundation for the young people to continue to shine more strongly in the future, not only on stage but also in the journey of self-development ahead.
