With sincerity and enthusiasm, the young people together “gathered sunshine”, connecting hearts to realise that: the most beautiful thing about youth is knowing how to bend down to lift up smiles.

With the desire to contribute to creating positive impacts on society through practical actions, the project deployed a series of meaningful activities comprising the communication campaign “Spreading Love”; the donation programme “Gathering Sunshine to Send Love”; and the volunteer activity “Connecting Love”. Each activity is a piece contributing to completing the picture of the compassion, sharing spirit and community responsibility of HUFLIT youth.

Spreading love from small actions

The project opened with the communication campaign “Spreading Love” – where simple stories, sincere reflections and everyday kind actions were widely shared. Through that, the project successfully inspired a positive lifestyle that cares about the people around us.

Continuing that journey, the programme “Gathering Sunshine to Send Love” received a positive response from students at the Sư Vạn Hạnh, Hóc Môn and Ba Gia campuses. Every contribution, even the smallest, is a warm ray of sunshine gathered from love and responsibility, contributing to bringing good things to people who need more care.

After a period of deployment, the organising committee collected a small “fortune” comprising 543 pencils, 95 erasers, 33 rulers, 31 pencil sharpeners and 45 purple-ink pens along with many sincere messages. Each item, however small, is a “warm ray of sunshine” full of sharing, a testament to the mutual-affection spirit of the University’s youth.

The journey to connect smiles

Wrapping up all those “rays of sunshine”, the volunteer team entered the final leg named “Connecting Love”. The journey to Nguyễn An Ninh Secondary School, Tân Bình Shelter and Lucky Village became beautiful memories and a source of motivation for the volunteers to continue nurturing the spirit of dedication to the community.

What was given was not only gifts or learning tools but also companionship, listening and moments of sincere sharing. Those were the innocent laughter of the children, the eager eyes when taking part in activities, the simple stories yet containing so much emotion.

Closing the “Connect – Share” 2026 journey, what remained was not only the gifts handed over in person but also the lessons about compassion, empathy and responsibility to the community. From small yet practical actions, HUFLIT students contributed to spreading the spirit of volunteering and beautiful humane values.

It is hoped that from this journey, there will be many more meaningful activities to follow, much love to be given and many positive values to continue to be replicated. Because sometimes, the most beautiful thing a trip leaves behind lies not in what was given, but in the love that remains in each person’s heart.
