The visit aimed to help students experience a professional working environment and bridge the gap between classroom theory and the real-world operations of a financial institution—particularly in the dynamic field of securities. It was also an opportunity for students to explore the modern world of finance and gain deeper insights into future career prospects. Rong Viet Securities Corporation (VDSC) is not only one of Vietnam’s most reputable securities companies but also an ideal workplace where individuals are encouraged to maximize their potential.
VDSC has been recognized as one of “Asia’s Best Workplaces” by HR Asia Magazine for four consecutive years (2022–2025). This remarkable achievement highlights VDSC’s excellence in human resource strategy, corporate culture, and working environment, making it the first and only securities company in Vietnam to receive this honor four years in a row.
The field trip to VDSC offered students valuable real-world exposure to Vietnam’s financial industry. Upon arrival, they were immediately impressed by the dynamic yet professional, modern, and open working environment. Guided by Ms. Huyền Trang, students toured key departments such as Brokerage, Research, and Operations, gaining a clearer understanding of the organizational structure and the roles each division plays in the operations of a securities firm. This hands-on experience helped students visualize the actual workflow—from market analysis to trading and portfolio management.
In addition to the company tour, students had the opportunity to meet and learn from two experts: Mr. Hùng, Director of Brokerage at Rong Viet Securities, and Mr. Ngọc Hiếu from Rong Viet Fund Management. The speakers provided an overview of Vietnam’s stock market and introduced the range of financial products and services offered by VDSC, including account opening, securities depository, and the detailed process of executing a trade—from placing an order to matching and settlement. They also discussed fundamental stock investment strategies, shared insights into the financial market, and guided students in reading and analyzing trading boards.
Although the session lasted only three hours, it provided HUFLITers with invaluable insights and practical experience. The visit helped them better understand how theoretical knowledge connects with real-world practice and encouraged the development of analytical and professional thinking—essential skills for thriving in the evolving financial landscape shaped by AI and technology.

Lê Thị Thanh Lam, a third-year student majoring in Finance and Banking (Faculty of Economics and Finance), shared: “The visit to Viet Dragon Securities was a turning point that helped me visualize how the financial sector truly operates. What once seemed like dry textbook knowledge suddenly became vivid, practical, and deeply inspiring, motivating me to pursue my future career path.”
Ms. Đặng Thị Thu Hằng, the accompanying lecturer, added:“This field trip offered learning value far beyond the classroom. It served not only as a bridge between theory and practice but also as a valuable opportunity for students to quickly develop essential analytical and investment decision-making skills—key competencies in today’s modern financial industry.”
