After overcoming numerous talented competitors, a HUFLIT student successfully made their mark at the “Got Talent” competition held in Dong Nai.
Last November, the final round of the “Got Talent” competition took place at Lac Hong University, attracting over 500 students from six universities with Chinese language programs, including: University of Social Sciences and Humanities of Ho Chi Minh City, Nguyen Tat Thanh University, Van Lang University, etc.
Attending the competition were Mr. Xu Chou, Deputy Consul General of China in Ho Chi Minh City, as well as representatives from Chinese associations and businesses, the Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Lam Thanh Hien, the Principal of Lac Hong University, and the entire board of directors.
Representing HUFLIT was Dr. Chau Ngoc Huy – Head of the Specialized Chinese Language Department, and a HUFLIT student who was among the TOP20 outstanding contestants competing in the final round.
The “Got Talent – Chinese Language Talent Search” competition is held annually to create a platform for students to learn more about the land and people of China, improve their foreign language skills, and showcase their talents. It is also an opportunity for universities with Chinese language programs to connect with the Consulate General of China.
This year, the contestants delivered impressive performances with careful preparation in terms of content and investment in props, demonstrating a deep understanding of Chinese culture. In the final round, the performance “Dai Minh Tinh” combining singing and dancing by Minh Anh from HUFLIT left a strong impression on the audience.
The final round of the competition ended with a wide range of emotions. HUFLIT students were able to showcase their talents in this arena. Hopefully, this achievement will be a steppingstone for Minh Anh to continue developing herself during her studies at HUFLIT, and help students confidently promote their strengths and affirm their foreign language abilities
