HUFLIT expands connections with top Chinese universities
During the working trip from June 9-13, 2025, the delegation of Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages and Information Technology (HUFLIT) led by Principal – Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, completed an important working trip to China. The delegation had a working session with prestigious universities in strategic cities such as Guilin, Wuhan and Chongqing.
The trip aims not only to reconnect with traditional partners, but also to expand academic cooperation in diverse fields such as languages, technology, tourism, and healthcare. At the same time, the trip also promotes student-teacher exchange programs, teaching internships, and the development of international standard joint training programs, especially in the field of Chinese Language.
China – A strategic destination in the trend of internationalization of education
The working trip gave the HUFLIT delegation a comprehensive view of a modern, disciplined China with a well-planned transportation, security and social system, creating ideal conditions for a stable and professional academic environment. Notably, China is currently actively promoting the “comprehensive export” of its educational, technological and cultural ecosystem to the world, in which Vietnam is considered a key market. The “Hundred Families Coming Out of the Sea” wave is demonstrated by the Chinese Government’s continuous increase in scholarship funding within the framework of the “One Belt, One Road” initiative.
Top universities here such as Wuhan University, Chongqing University, Southwest University and Guangxi Normal University have proactively proposed in-depth cooperation with HUFLIT, including faculty training, sharing university management experience, granting scholarships and developing joint programs. This is a global trend in higher education, and HUFLIT is taking the lead step by step to assert its pioneering position in the region.
HUFLIT – Borderless academic space for new-age students
With the support of world-class universities such as Wuhan University, Chongqing University, Southwest University and Guangxi Normal University, HUFLIT students can confidently pursue international study and research opportunities right from the undergraduate level. HUFLIT is committed to building a borderless academic space where students can study, experience and grow in a comprehensive international environment. HUFLIT is not only a place to start their education, but also a gateway to the world, bringing students’ global dreams closer than ever. “HUFLIT aims to build a borderless academic space – where students can study, experience and grow in a comprehensive international environment,” shared Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan.
