Understanding this, HUFLIT launched the Mini Campus Tour programme to give school students the chance to experience a university environment first-hand, explore programmes of study and hear practical insights from the teaching staff.

More than a visit, it is a journey that gives students a stronger basis for making the right choice about their future.

Letting students “touch” the university environment

Instead of merely imagining lecture halls through photos or videos, students step directly into HUFLIT’s learning spaces to observe, take part and get an authentic feel for the rhythm of university life.

During the programme, students from a range of high schools across Ho Chi Minh City explored the classroom system, the library, computer rooms and specialist practice laboratories. The microchip engineering laboratory and the function rooms of the Faculty of Information Technology drew particular interest, as students could watch study and practical work at first hand and hear lecturers introduce the curriculum.

With the group size kept deliberately manageable, the Mini Campus Tour also makes it easy for each student to interact, ask questions and receive down-to-earth advice from lecturers, students and the admissions team.

Discovering your own strengths through real experience

What makes the Mini Campus Tour special is not the tour of facilities, but the chance for students to measure their own interests, abilities and strengths against real activities.

Throughout the journey, participants experience a range of activities:

  • Touring the classroom system, library and modern learning spaces, including specialist practice laboratories, to better understand the training environment.
  • Meeting lecturers and students, and hearing them share their experience of study and career direction.
  • Joining interactive activities such as anime dubbing and mini games, and receiving souvenirs from HUFLIT.
  • Receiving advice on admission methods and scholarships, and having their questions answered before they step through the university gates.

Each activity offers a different vantage point from which students can observe how they react, what they enjoy and which strengths they might build on in future. This is an important foundation for understanding their own aptitudes before choosing a field of study.

HUFLIT walks with students on the journey of self-discovery

Career direction does not begin when a student submits an application; it takes shape through a process of researching, experiencing and discovering oneself. Through the Mini Campus Tour, HUFLIT aims to create a space connecting students, parents and the University, where questions about programmes, the learning environment and career opportunities are answered through real experience.

Every question asked, every conversation with a lecturer and every moment spent observing the learning environment helps students feel more confident in deciding their future.

Here are some highlights from the HUFLIT Mini Campus Tour – where the journey of discovering university begins with the most authentic experiences.

  • Proud to be HUFLITers #07 | M.A. Tran My Uyen – A lectern where a teacher wishes only to “watch her children grow up”
At the HUFLIT Faculty of Foreign Languages, M.A. Tran My Uyen (Vice Dean) goes by many names. Some call her “Ms My”; her students call her “mother”. Colleagues often compare her to Mother Au Co with a hundred children. Yet to become the “mother” of the lecture hall she is today, she went through a profound shift in thinking that completely changed a teaching philosophy built over more than 30 years.
  • New Cybersecurity Regulations: Opportunities for the Cybersecurity Field in the Digital Era
The new cybersecurity regulations taking effect on 1 July 2026 not only help complete the legal framework but also drive demand for talent in cybersecurity. This is also the moment when the discipline becomes a promising choice for young people who love technology and information security.
  • “GenZ Major Insights 2026” – Episode 9: Boundless Journeys with HUFLIT’s Tourism and Hospitality Programs
Many students choose the Tourism and Hospitality field simply because they love to travel. But passion alone is not enough to pursue this field in the long run. What matters more is understanding the nature of the discipline, its professional requirements, and the qualities needed to grow in a professional service environment.
