The Information Technology programme at HUFLIT trains knowledge and skills in researching, designing, developing and operating software systems, computer networks and digital technology platforms. Students are trained scientifically, from the foundations to complex models.

Students approach everything from the foundations of programming, databases and system security to modern fields such as data science, network security, microchip design and the Internet of Things (IoT).

Inheriting a foundation of more than 30 years of application-oriented foreign language – informatics training, HUFLIT Information Technology students are equipped with English capacity to directly research technical materials, communicate and work in a multicultural technology environment.

Core competencies & learning outcomes of the HUFLIT Information Technology programme

Information Technology students at HUFLIT are equipped with the “foreign language – technology – expertise” foundation to meet the needs of the modern technology market.

  • Foreign language capacity in a technology environment

Graduating IT students at HUFLIT reach an English capacity equivalent to level 3 (B1) according to the 6-level Foreign Language Competency Framework for Vietnam, sufficiently able to communicate, read and understand specialised materials and work in an international technology environment.

Tuition of the HUFLIT Information Technology programme

In 2026, HUFLIT continues to commit to no increase in tuition for the whole course. The tuition applied to students of the 2026 cohort is as follows:

  • General knowledge: 1,230,000 VND/credit (Physical Education, National Defence Education, Politics)
  • Specialised knowledge: 1,330,000 VND/credit

In addition, new students also have the chance to receive scholarships (New Student Scholarship, Talent Scholarship) and access the interest-free student support fund with a total value of up to 64 billion VND/year.
