The Hotel Management programme at HUFLIT is designed along an application orientation, equipping students with knowledge and skills in managing and operating the various types of accommodation, restaurant, resort, conference – event and customer-care services. Through practical course units, business experience and real projects, students approach modern hotel-management models, professional service-operation processes and methods of building excellent customer experience.

Developed on a foundation of more than 30 years of application-oriented foreign language training, the programme focuses on teaching the specialisation in English, helping students approach field and specialised knowledge in a modern, internationally integrated way. With the advantage of both studying the specialisation and integrating the enhancement of academic English and specialised tourism – hospitality – restaurant English throughout the training roadmap, students comprehensively develop international-communication ability, presentation skills, situation-handling and the capacity to work effectively in a multicultural and global tourism environment.

At HUFLIT, Hotel Management students learn and practise in an environment that simulates closely the real operations of service enterprises, helping form career skills right from the first years of study. 

The system of specialised practice rooms includes: 

    • A hotel front-office practice room (Front Office) 
    • A housekeeping practice area (Housekeeping) 
    • A bartender and barista mixing-practice space 
    • Restaurant – hotel service models according to industry standards 

With a training orientation tied to reality, the facilities are synchronously invested to create conditions for students to train career skills, service manner and situation-handling ability in a professional environment. Through that, learners step by step narrow the gap between lecture-hall knowledge and the real requirements of enterprises, enhance adaptation capacity and be ready to enter the labour market right after graduation. 

  • Learning through real-world experience 

The training programme along the Experiential Learning orientation helps students learn through practical experience instead of only approaching theory in class. Practical experiential course units in the Hotel Management specialisation are deployed throughout from year 1 to year 3, helping students step by step approach the professional environment, enhance their understanding of service standards, culture, services and real operation activities in the industry. 

Besides, students regularly take part in real study tours at accommodation establishments, culinary restaurant chains, resorts and conference-and-banquet centres to develop career thinking, situation-handling skills and the ability to adapt to a modern service environment.

The Faculty is proud to have a strategic enterprise network in the tourism – travel, hotel and service field that always accompanies the process of training students. Enterprises not only take part in giving feedback on building the training programme according to the industry’s real needs but also directly take part in teaching, thematic reports, workshops, career-skills training and sharing the development trends of the modern tourism market.

Core competencies & learning outcomes of the HUFLIT Hotel Management programme

The Hotel Management training programme at HUFLIT is built along an application and international-integration orientation, helping students comprehensively develop the “Foreign language – Technology – Expertise” capacity to adapt to the modern tourism industry and the global labour market. 

Students are oriented to develop along two specialisations: 

  • Accommodation-establishment and resort business administration 
  • Restaurant and food-and-beverage service management 

Through that, learners have the opportunity to choose a career orientation suited to their capacity, interests and the development trends of the modern tourism – service industry. 

  • Foreign languages – Integration capacity in an international tourism environment 

Students are trained in academic English, specialised English and the integrated use of English in specialised course units. After graduation, students reach an English capacity equivalent to level 4 according to the Vietnamese Foreign Language Competency Framework or B2 level (European reference framework), with good communication, presentation and delivery skills and effective situation-handling in a multicultural and international tourism environment. 

  • Technology – Mastering the smart-tourism trend 

Students get access to the platforms and technologies applied in the modern tourism industry such as: 

    • Reservation and service-management systems 
    • Operation-management and online tourism-business platforms 
    • Tools supporting customer care and experience development 
    • The application of digital technology and AI in service management

Tuition of the HUFLIT Hotel Management programme

In 2026, HUFLIT continues to commit to no increase in tuition for the whole course. The tuition applied to students of the 2026 cohort is as follows:

  • General knowledge: 1,230,000 VND/credit (Physical Education, National Defence Education, Politics)
  • Specialised knowledge: 1,330,000 VND/credit
