Mastering technology to create the future

Throughout the series of event days at the Hóc Môn campus, more than 3,700 new graduates, including 44 masters and 3,713 bachelors, officially donned the graduation gown. The impressive scale of this degree-awarding is clear proof of HUFLIT’s strong development and continuously improving training quality. At the ceremony, the University also awarded a total of 218,000,000 VND to honour the new graduates with excellent study and training achievements.

The strongly inspiring highlight of the ceremony came from the sharing of Dr. Nguyễn Anh Tuấn – the University Rector. Facing young people’s concerns about the disruption of global life and the rise of Artificial Intelligence (AI), the Rector affirmed the strategic message:

“Please rest assured, ladies and gentlemen and students: AI cannot replace humans. AI only replaces the people who don’t know how to take advantage of the gift of technology… At HUFLIT, we do not avoid, we are not afraid, but proactively step forward to learn and master AI. HUFLIT does not train students for the past, but trains students for the future”.

This orientation is the core foundation, turning foreign languages and technology into a sharp “dual weapon”, helping HUFLIT students confidently enhance their work productivity and be ready to adapt to the digital era.

Redefining “brilliance” and the lesson about gratitude

Besides knowledge and technology, the biggest baggage that HUFLIT students carry into life is a beautiful character. Representing more than 3,700 students, new graduate Phạm Trịnh Đông Nghi (English Language field) delivered an extremely moving speech.

Amid the young generation’s pressure to become “extraordinary”, Đông Nghi redefined brilliance in a deeply humane way: “A precious life does not necessarily have to be tied to fame… Whichever path you choose, as long as you live with kindness and integrity, that is already a worthy life”.

That kindness is nurtured from HUFLIT’s very environment, where students are grateful for the silent sacrifice of their parents, grateful for the dedication of their teachers, and cherish even the simplest things. “From the Scholarship Fund so that no student is left behind, to the hot-cold water dispensers placed all over the school campus… or the dedication of the cleaning ladies and security guards taught us a valuable lesson about kindness and humility,” Đông Nghi shared.

A solid support for students to reach out with peace of mind

The words of gratitude from the new-graduate representative are also proof of the companionship philosophy that HUFLIT always upholds. So that students can study with peace of mind, the University continuously maintains practical support policies. In 2026, the New Student Scholarship package is maintained with a total value of up to 40 billion VND. Along with that, the Student Support Fund of 13 billion VND each year (borrowing money to pay tuition without having to pay interest) and keeping the tuition level stable are the University’s strong commitments in sharing the financial pressure with the learners’ families.

In 2026, the University continues to expand scholarship policies for new students, with a total value of up to 40 billion VND, including many scholarships worth 100% of whole-course tuition. Some outstanding scholarships include:

  • First-Aspiration Scholarship: worth 50% of Semester I tuition for candidates admitted with first aspiration to HUFLIT;
  • Experience Scholarship: supporting 20% of whole-course tuition;
  • Talented New Student Scholarship: from 20%, 50% to 100% of whole-course tuition;
  • Together with scholarships maintained annually such as the University Valedictorian Scholarship (50% of whole-course tuition), Field Valedictorian (25%), Hóc Môn Scholarship (15%).

Not only solid in terms of the home front, HUFLIT students are also boosted by a network of more than 200 cooperation agreements (MOU, MOA) with domestic and foreign enterprises and organisations. Thanks to real-world exposure experiences through movement activities, academic seminars and enterprise internships, thousands of new graduates confidently step into the demanding labour market.

More than 3,700 bachelor’s caps flying in the April sky officially closed a beautiful youthful chapter. From today, the new graduates step out into the world with the mettle of HUFLIT people – going through adversity with willpower, mastering the future with intellect, and beautifying life with gratitude.

  • Proud to be HUFLITers #07 | M.A. Tran My Uyen – A lectern where a teacher wishes only to “watch her children grow up”
    At the HUFLIT Faculty of Foreign Languages, M.A. Tran My Uyen (Vice Dean) goes by many names. Some call her “Ms My”; her students call her “mother”. Colleagues often compare her to Mother Au Co with a hundred children. Yet to become the “mother” of the lecture hall she is today, she went through a profound shift in thinking that completely changed a teaching philosophy built over more than 30 years.

  • “GenZ Major Insights 2026” – Episode 9: Boundless Journeys with HUFLIT’s Tourism and Hospitality Programs
    Many students choose the Tourism and Hospitality field simply because they love to travel. But passion alone is not enough to pursue this field in the long run. What matters more is understanding the nature of the discipline, its professional requirements, and the qualities needed to grow in a professional service environment.
