HUFLIT Announces 2025 Admission Cut-off Scores and Enrollment Procedures Timeline
On August 22, the Admissions Council of Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages & Information Technology (HUFLIT) officially announced the admission cut-off scores for 23 full-time undergraduate programs via three selection methods: results of the 2025 High School Graduation Exam, high school transcript scores of 12th grade, and the 2025 ĐGNL (Competency Assessment) by VNU-HCM.
Accordingly, for the 2025 High School Graduation Exam method, cut-off scores range from 15 to 17. In particular, majors such as English Language, Chinese Language, Marketing, and Multimedia Communication require 17 points to pass.
For the high school transcript method, cut-off scores range from 18 to 20. Besides programs requiring 20 points, certain majors like Information Technology, Eastern Studies, Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Auditing … have cut-offs at 18 points.
For the ĐGNL method, scores range from 500 to 600 points. Majors such as English Language, Chinese Language, Marketing, Multimedia Communication require candidates to score at least 600 to be admitted.
Students will complete enrollment procedures at the university according to the Admission Invitation Letter; at the same time, they must confirm enrollment online on the Ministry of Education & Training’s system before 5:00 PM on August 30.
From August 23 to 26, 2025, HUFLIT will hold direct on-campus enrollment for Cohort 31 at the Su Van Hanh campus. Concurrently, from now until August 31, HUFLIT continues to accept supplementary admission applications to optimize admission chances for candidates.

In addition to flexible admission policies, HUFLIT also implements many student support and scholarship policies with a total value of up to VND 46 billion, aiming to assist all learners to study and develop with peace of mind. Among them, prominent ones are Experience Scholarships worth 20% of full-course tuition for majors: Law, Economic Law, Tourism Service Management, Hotel Management, Eastern Studies, Japanese Language, Artificial Intelligence, Accounting, Auditing.
Besides merit and policy scholarships, the university also offers many scholarship categories specially for new students plus a student support fund with a total annual value of VND 13 billion. Specifically, students in difficult circumstances may be considered for interest-free loans from this fund to cover tuition. Importantly, HUFLIT commits not to increase tuition fees for the entire course for new students in 2025 and all current students.
Important Milestones New Students of K31 Should Note
- August 22: HUFLIT publishes cut-off scores. After that, candidates can look up results, Admission Invitations, and enrollment instructions.
- 3:00 PM on August 22: livestream on enrollment guidance.
- From August 23 to 26: New students complete on-campus enrollment procedures.
- From September 3 (tentative): New students follow the university’s information channels to receive instructions for activating the Student Account (view course timetable).
- September 11 to 14: New students participate in orientation sessions (one session as scheduled).
September 15: Official start of Semester 1 classes according to timetable.
