Minimum entry scores by admission method

In 2026, HUFLIT admits students through 04 methods, with the following specific minimum entry scores:

• Method 1: Admission based on the 2026 high school graduation examination results. The admission score is the total of 3 graduation examination subjects in the chosen subject combination: 15 points. For Law and Economic Law, the threshold is 20 points (in accordance with Ministry of Education and Training regulations).
• Method 2: Admission based on high school academic results. The admission score is the total of the average scores of 3 subjects in the chosen combination across 3 academic years (Grades 10, 11 and 12): 18 points. For Law and Economic Law, the threshold is 21 points (in accordance with Ministry of Education and Training regulations).
• Method 3: Admission based on the 2026 competency assessment examination of Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City: 550 points. For Law and Economic Law, the threshold is 720 points (in accordance with Ministry of Education and Training regulations).

Attractive scholarship policies for the 2026 intake

1. Tuition fees:

In 2026, HUFLIT continues its policy of no tuition fee increases for the duration of the programme. The fees applicable to first-year students are as follows:

• General education courses: VND 1,230,000 per credit (physical education, national defence education, politics)

• Specialist courses: VND 1,330,000 per credit.

Total tuition for the whole programme is estimated at VND 190,000,000 (9 semesters). The programme runs for 3 to 3.5 years, with a total of 135 credits (excluding 3 credits of national defence education and 4 credits of physical education).

The programme comprises 9 semesters, specifically:

• Year 1: students take 3 semesters (2 main semesters + the military training semester). (Students register their own courses from Semester 2 of Year 1)
• Years 2 and 3: students take 3 semesters per year.
• Year 4: students take 1 semester.

Tuition is paid at the start of each semester and calculated on the number of registered credits (except for Semester 1 of Year 1), which eases the financial pressure on students and their families.

2. Scholarships and tuition support:

In addition, HUFLIT has built a highly varied scholarship fund and learner support policy. From Year 1, students can already borrow money towards tuition through the student support fund at 0% interest (subject to conditions).

For the 2026–2027 academic year, HUFLIT is offering very attractive scholarship policies:

– 50% scholarship on Semester 1 tuition: For students who select HUFLIT as their first preference on the Ministry of Education and Training admissions support system from now until 17:00 on 14 July 2026.

– 20% scholarship on tuition for the whole programme: For 09 designated programmes: Law, Economic Law, Tourism & Travel Services Management, Hotel Management, Oriental Studies, Japanese Language, Artificial Intelligence, Accounting and Auditing.

– 15% scholarship on tuition for the whole programme for students who choose to study full time at Hoc Mon Campus: Applies to 15 programmes (English Language, Chinese Language, Korean Language, Information Technology (excluding the microchip engineering specialisation), E-Commerce, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, International Business, Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Marketing, Business Administration, Finance & Banking, International Relations, Public Relations and Multimedia Communications.
