STUDY AT HUFLIT, RECEIVE AN INTERNATIONAL DEGREE FROM HANKUK UNIVERSITY OF FOREIGN LANGUAGES (KOREA)
In order to provide high-quality educational programs for students, Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages - Information Technology (HUFLIT) and Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (HUFS – Korea) have signed an Agreement on the international transfer program, allowing students to complete at least 50% of credits at HUFLIT, the remaining 50% at HUFS and receive a Bachelor’s degree granted by HUFS.
Following the cooperation activities to develop high-quality educational programs for students between HUFLIT and Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, the recent signing ceremony of the Cooperation Agreement between the two schools has moved towards implementing international exchange and transfer programs, taught in Korean and English.
In addition to the student exchange program implemented with most universities, HUFS is one of the prestigious partners that HUFLIT trusts to choose to expand the international transfer program. This is a program that allows students to complete at least half of the first time studying at HUFLIT and the last half at HUFS. Graduates will receive a Bachelor’s degree from HUFS.
To participate in the program, students must have at least TOPIK level 4 to enroll in majors taught in Korean, or TOEFL IBT 71 / IELTS 5.5 certificate for majors taught in English. In addition, scholarships from 50% to 100% tuition waiver for the first semester are “privileges” exclusively for HUFLIT students with excellent academic achievements or international language certificates when participating in “partial study abroad” programs at HUFS.
And now, not only students studying in the field of language and culture (Korean, Japanese, English), but also English-taught majors such as Economics – Finance, Business Administration and International Relations at HUFLIT can have the experience of studying in Korea within reach with the cost of saving half compared to full-time study abroad.
It can be said that the signing of the Cooperation Agreement on the international exchange and transfer program with Hankuk University of Foreign Studies is an important step in improving the quality of training and expanding international study opportunities for HUFLIT students.
