The journey of Business Administration freshmen shining at “The Race Day” 2025
Last Sunday morning, at Le Thi Rieng Cultural Park, an atmosphere of excitement and enthusiasm filled the air as the Youth Union – Student Association of the Faculty of Business Administration hosted the 2025 Freshmen Sports Festival “The Race Day.”
The 2025 Freshmen Sports Festival “The Race Day” is an annual event organized to create opportunities for new students of the Faculty of Business Administration to meet, connect with peers and seniors, and engage in healthy physical activities. The program also aims to promote the importance of sports and teamwork among students.
The event followed a station race format with five challenge stations designed to test students’ physical abilities, agility, and problem-solving skills. Through these activities, the program actively promoted the “Five-Good Student” movement by emphasizing the “Good Physical Fitness” criterion among HUFLIT’s Business Administration students.
At the event, freshmen were divided into five groups, each consisting of four teams competing across five different game stations to determine the top-performing team. Throughout the challenging course, participants demonstrated remarkable perseverance, strong teamwork, and youthful energy as they tackled each level of difficulty with enthusiasm and determination.
At the “Desert Planet” station, teams had to maintain strong teamwork, focus, and active listening to successfully conquer the “Vocabulary Arena” challenge and uncover all the program’s key terms.
The challenge “Speed Race” at the “Volcano Planet” station required teams to coordinate seamlessly and in perfect sync. Under the pressure of time, speed and endurance became the golden keys helping the freshmen collect the highest number of items for their team.
At the “Jungle Moon” station, teams had to utilize their agility, dexterity, and intelligence to successfully decode the mysterious “Maze Challenge” designed by the organizers.
At the “Death Star” station, new challengers faced the “Galaxy Tunnel Formation” challenge, which required teams to use their full strength and unwavering determination to complete the Plank Bridge task, as well as demonstrate skill and precision to conquer the Tower Building stage.
At the “Cloud City” station, countless mysterious numbers were arranged to form the “Arithmetic Universe” challenge. Teams had to be truly quick, make precise judgments, and use the smartest strategies to bring back the highest total “code” for their team.
Through the challenge stations, the Organizing Committee identified the winners of the five special awards for each group. Beyond the competitive aspect, the organizers aimed to create enjoyable, healthy, and refreshing moments for all participating students. This helped strengthen team spirit, promote habits of maintaining physical health through sports activities, and foster enthusiasm for joining campus events.
It is hoped that after the unforgettable journey at the “The Race Day” Freshman Sports Festival, the new students of the Faculty of Business Administration enjoyed both fun and healthy physical activity, while also building positive relationships with new friends and senior classmates. We wish all freshmen a successful start to the new academic year, shining brightly and creating cherished memories at HUFLIT.
