The Faculty of Foreign Languages at HUFLIT “Ignites” the Teaching Profession for Major StudentsRecently, the Faculty of Foreign Languages organized the first professional skills seminar for students in the 2025–2026 academic year under the theme “From the Classroom to the Teaching Podium.” The program was not only a career-sharing session but also opened a profound narrative about the educational journey—exploring choices, commitment, and sustaining passion for the teaching profession in the context of modern education.
The “Sharing Love” Journey with Students of An Nghia High School by the Admissions Office Trade Union.
On the morning of October 25, 2025, the Trade Union of the Admissions Office visited An Nghia High School (formerly in Can Gio District) to begin a meaningful journey — sharing love and support with students who excel academically despite difficult circumstances.
The “Sharing Love” program, initiated by the Admissions Office Trade Union of HUFLIT, received strong support from lecturers and staff, raising a total of 23,050,000 VND. This amount far exceeded the original goal, affirming the solidarity and social responsibility embraced by the HUFLIT community.
Initially, the program planned to award three scholarships worth 3,000,000 VND each to three disadvantaged students. However, thanks to the collective contributions, the initiative expanded to support an additional 20 difficult cases, while also increasing the scholarship amount to 4,500,000 VND per student.
At the ceremony, Mr. Chung Quoc Phong, Head of the Admissions Office Trade Union, represented HUFLIT in presenting scholarships to five students. The award ceremony took place in a warm and heartfelt atmosphere, reflecting empathy and genuine care from the HUFLIT community, motivating the students to continue striving in their studies.
The scholarships offered that day were not only financial support but also heartfelt encouragement from HUFLIT — a message that these students are not alone on their journey toward a brighter future, as there will always be caring individuals who believe in, support, and accompany them.
Stories of Resilience and Dreams
At the scholarship ceremony, five outstanding students — each representing a moving story of perseverance and inner strength — touched the hearts of everyone present.
Phạm Lê Tường Vy (Class 10A3):
Orphaned by her mother at just seven months old and abandoned by her father, Vy has been raised by her grandparents in an old house that frequently floods. Despite lacking parental care, she continues to attend school diligently, nurturing the dream of changing her life through education.
Võ Thị Tuyết Trinh (Class 12A1):
Having lost her mother to cancer and with a father unable to work, Tuyết Trinh has never stopped striving. She has been an excellent student for many years, earning Third Prize in the City-level Literature Contest and Third Prize in the Olympus Geography Competition. Her dream is to enter university and support her family.
Huỳnh Khánh Duy (Class 12A7):
Coming from a difficult background — with his father working as a mason and his mother selling lottery tickets — Duy has maintained excellent academic performance for 11 consecutive years. Beyond studying, he actively participates in school and Youth Union activities, serving as a shining example of optimism and determination.
Bùi Nhật Huy (Class 12A3):
Having lost his mother early in life and living with his father, who works as a low-income security guard, Huy continues to maintain solid academic performance and good conduct. He is widely recognized as a responsible and exemplary student.
Nguyễn Lê Quốc Toàn (Class 11A2):
With both parents doing unstable manual jobs, Toàn understands that education is the only path to a better future for himself and his family. He is working hard every day to improve his academic results and move closer to his goals.
After completing all activities, the program recorded a remaining amount of 550,000 VND. This entire amount will be added to the fund to continue supporting meaningful community initiatives in the future. The representative of the Admissions Office Trade Union, the organizing unit, extended heartfelt gratitude to all lecturers and staff who contributed and accompanied the program, creating a collective strength that helped spread these meaningful values.
The success of the program serves as motivation for HUFLIT to continue receiving support and collaboration on future journeys. Here, love is not defined merely by gifts, but by a continuous journey of compassion, empathy, and shared humanity.
