The Faculty of Foreign Languages at HUFLIT “Ignites” the Teaching Profession for Major StudentsRecently, the Faculty of Foreign Languages organized the first professional skills seminar for students in the 2025–2026 academic year under the theme “From the Classroom to the Teaching Podium.” The program was not only a career-sharing session but also opened a profound narrative about the educational journey—exploring choices, commitment, and sustaining passion for the teaching profession in the context of modern education.
The Party Committee of HUFLIT Admits New Party Members
On the afternoon of 09 September 2024, the Party Cell Hiệu Bộ 1 (Office Bloc 1), under the Party Committee of the University of Foreign Languages — Information Technology, Ho Chi Minh City (HUFLIT), solemnly held a ceremony to admit two distinguished citizens, Phạm Thị Trinh and Lê Nguyễn Thiện Thuật, into the Communist Party.

The event was honored by the presence of Comrade Nguyễn Anh Tuấn — Secretary of the Party Committee and the University Rector — as well as secretaries of the Party Cells under the University, representatives of the University’s Trade Union, Youth Union, Student Union, and other mass organizations.
During the official part of the ceremony, the two candidates Phạm Thị Trinh and Lê Nguyễn Thiện Thuật were presented with Party membership admission decisions, and they solemnly took an oath of loyalty to the Communist Party of Vietnam. They will undergo a 12-month probationary period.

Comrade Nguyễn Thị Thiều, Deputy Secretary of Party Cell Hiệu Bộ 1, presented the decisions of admission to the new members. At the ceremony, the Party Secretary offered congratulations and assigned responsibilities to supervisory comrades, asking them to closely mentor the probationary members to help them develop and mature.
Both new members were described as having grown from student activism, and now as Party members, they must strive further to develop themselves and contribute value to the HUFLIT community. Party Cell secretaries and representatives of mass organizations also extended warm congratulations and encouragement, helping to orient and raise the sense of responsibility of the new members

Ms. Lê Thị Tuyết Anh, President of the University Trade Union, and Comrade Nguyễn Quốc Khánh, Secretary of the Youth Union, presented flowers and salutations to the new Party members. The ceremony concluded in an atmosphere of joy and excitement. The new Party members, together with other members of Party Cell Hiệu Bộ 1, pledged to continuously strive, preserve unity, and contribute to the strengthening of the organization. They also vowed to uphold the spirit of youth, to keep learning, and to contribute to the development of their Cell, the Party, and the HUFLIT “home.”
