The 12th Congress of Delegates of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages ​​and Information Technology, term 2024 – 2027

Aiming at the 12th Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the University of Foreign Languages ​​and Information Technology, term 2024 – 2027, from mid-June 2024 to mid-July 2024, the Youth Union of the Faculties successively successfully organized the Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union for the term 2024 – 2027 to summarize the work of the Youth Union and the youth movement of the Faculty for the term 2022 – 2024.

The Congress of the Youth Union of the Faculties elected a new Executive Committee with strong political will, good leadership qualities and capacity to join the Executive Committee of the Youth Union of the Faculties for the 2024-2027 term, as well as introduced potential candidates to run for the Executive Committee of the Youth Union of the School, Term XII, 2024-2027 term. The Youth Union at all levels at the School is a strong arm, a bridge with the School Youth Union to build and develop the Youth Union work and youth movement at the School, consolidating the position of the Youth Union organization in the HUFLIT youth community.

The 12th Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the University of Foreign Languages ​​and Information Technology, term 2024 – 2027, is an important political event for the union members and youth of the School to discuss and evaluate the achievements and limitations and shortcomings in the work of the Union and the youth movement of the School for the term 2022 – 2024; determine the direction and tasks of the work of the Union and the youth movement of the School for the term 2024 – 2027.

Attending the Congress, the School Youth Union was honored to welcome the Standing members, leaders of the Propaganda – External Relations Department, School Youth Union, Organization – Inspection Department of Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union; leaders of the School Council, Party Committee, School Board of Directors; Leaders of units in the School and Standing members, Standing Committees of the School Youth Union of different periods; Representatives of Military School of Military Region 7; Leaders of the City Party Committee – People’s Council – People’s Committee – Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nga Bay City, Standing Committee of Nga Bay City Youth Union (Hau Giang Province); Standing Committee of Duong Minh Chau District Youth Union, Bau Nang Commune Youth Union (Tay Ninh Province); Standing Committees, Standing Committees of Youth Unions of Districts, Counties and Universities and Colleges in Ho Chi Minh City. Besides, there were nearly 150 delegates attending the Congress.

In the first session held on the morning of August 14, 2024, the Congress elected a Presidium of 05 comrades, a Secretariat of 03 comrades and a Delegate Qualification Examination Board of 11 comrades. The Congress approved the Congress program, listened to comments on the work of the Youth Union and HUFLIT youth movement for the 2022-2024 term, discussed the working direction for the 2024-2027 term, reported on the review of the Executive Committee, reported on the synthesis of comments on the Draft documents, the personnel plan for the Executive Committee and elected the new term Executive Committee.

After the first session, the first meeting of the Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages ​​and Information Technology Youth Union, Term XII, 2024 – 2027, took place and at the meeting, the Standing Committee, the Inspection Committee of the Youth Union, the positions of Secretary, Deputy Secretary, and Chairman of the Inspection Committee were elected.

In the solemn session – the second working session of the Congress, all delegates looked back at the outstanding results of the 11th term (2022 – 2024), listened to the report “Promoting the role of the Youth Union in supporting learners at HUFLIT”, and received the comments and instructions from Comrade Truong Minh Tuoc Nguyen – Standing Deputy Secretary, Chairman of the City Youth Union Inspection Committee and Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Vu – Vice Principal of the School sent to the Congress.

After 02 active, urgent, serious, democratic working sessions, with a high sense of responsibility, the 12th Congress of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages ​​and Information Technology, term 2024 – 2027, has completed the proposed program. The delegates voted in high agreement with the basic contents of the Draft documents submitted to the Congress, unanimously approved the Congress Resolution, demonstrating the determination to further develop the Union work and youth movement of the School.

The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages ​​and Information Technology, Term XII, consisting of 21 comrades and positions, specifically as follows:

1. Mr. Nguyen Quoc Khanh – Secretary of the School Youth Union.
2. Comrade Chu Ngoc Cam Truc – Deputy Secretary of the School Youth Union.
3. Mr. Le Nguyen Thien Thuat – Member of the Standing Committee of the School Youth Union.
4. Mr. Phan Thanh Nam – Member of the Standing Committee of the School Youth Union.
5. Comrade Doan Thao Dieu – Member of the Standing Committee of the School Youth Union.
6. Mr. Ly Phung Thanh – Member of the Standing Committee of the School Youth Union.
7. Comrade Nguyen Vo Huyen Tram – Member of the Standing Committee of the School Youth Union, Youth Union Officer in charge of Association work.
8. Comrade Vu Hoang Ngoc Duyen – Member of the School Youth Union Executive Committee.
9. Mr. Huynh Vu Le – Member of the School Youth Union Executive Committee.
