FORMOSA NATIONAL UNIVERSITY BECOMES HUFLIT’S NEWEST TAIWAN PARTNER
At the HUFLIT Su Van Hanh campus, the signing ceremony took place, officially marking the cooperative relationship between Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages - Information Technology and Formosa University (NFU), Taiwan.

The signing ceremony was attended by Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Vu – Vice Principal of HUFLIT and teachers who are leaders of the faculties of Foreign Languages, Business Administration, Information Technology and Economics – Finance. The representatives of the two schools signing the Memorandum of Understanding were Dr. Li-wei Chen – Head of NFU International Relations Department and Ms. Nguyen Thi Thieu – Head of HUFLIT External Relations Department.

The signing of the MOU between HUFLIT and NFU is the result of many meetings between representatives of the two schools before officially establishing a cooperative relationship. Accordingly, the two sides will discuss and agree on important development goals, cooperate in implementing training programs, and international exchanges to create conditions for students to access the best learning environment.

After the signing ceremony, Dr. Jo-Yu Wang – Head of the International Academic Department and professor of the NFU Finance Department gave a presentation on Taiwanese corporate culture to more than 100 students from the Foreign Language, Business Administration, Information Technology and Economics – Finance departments. Through the presentation, he also included information about Taiwan in general and NFU in particular for students who wish to study abroad.

During the discussion, HUFLIT students left a strong impression on NFU representatives with their confident and flexible communication skills in both Chinese and English. Their fluency in presenting their opinions, along with their desire to learn about international study opportunities and personal development, made the sharing session a success with a lot of useful information.
