Opportunities for students to gain practical experience at KPMG Company
As part of a series of events celebrating the 30th anniversary of the School’s founding, the Faculty of Economics – Finance collaborated with KPMG Vietnam to successfully organize a business tour program for the Faculty’s students.
COMPANY TOUR is a business tour program organized by the faculty leadership throughout the school year. This is one of the brand activities of the Faculty of Economics – Finance with the aim of creating a connection requirement for students of the Faculty to have the opportunity to experience, observe, listen and learn from the real environment, learn about recruitment policies, working culture of the business; thereby strengthening awareness of the profession as well as accumulating more skills, experience, forming the right attitude to start orienting careers related to the fields of Finance, Accounting, Auditing in the future.

KPMG expert introduces career opportunities for students
KPMG Vietnam is one of the four largest auditing firms in the world (Big 4s) including PricewaterhouseCooper (PWC), Deloitte, Ernst and Young (E&Y) and KPMG. KPMG was established in 1994 with a scale of nearly 2,000 specialists and employees working in offices in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi and Da Nang. KPMG is known as one of the leading providers of auditing, tax, legal and business consulting services in Vietnam as well as in the world.
This year’s Company Tour at KPMG introduced students to two extremely attractive fields that are suitable for both Finance – Banking and Accounting: Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and Tax Advisory. The tour created an opportunity for students of the Faculty of Economics – Finance to visit and learn about a Big4 company as well as gain more knowledge about the requirements for jobs in the field of Mergers & Acquisitions and Tax at KPMG. Not only that, they also listened to experts share their working style and valuable experiences in a professional, disciplined, and yet equally fun, youthful, and dynamic environment.

The Company Tour left unforgettable impressions, helping students gain many useful practical experiences in the field of Finance as well as accounting and auditing. The program ended successfully in an exciting and enthusiastic atmosphere of the new students. Not so, the friendly sharing from the competent experts helped the students have more motivation to strive their best to become professional workers, ready to meet the recruitment and application needs of businesses in the current economic integration conditions.
