Student Exchange Program at Saint Joseph’s University, Macao (USJ) Spring Semester 2025

The Office of Foreign Affairs announces the selection of students to participate in the Spring 2025 exchange program at Saint Joseph University, Macao (USJ) , specifically as follows:

1.Conditions:

  • Currently a 2nd year student or above in the Faculty of Business Administration or the Faculty of International Relations;
  • Have B2 English proficiency confirmed by IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC certificate or confirmation letter from dean/department head.

2.Application documents: Students prepare and submit all of the following documents:

2. Passport copy Passport copy Just scan the page containing the information. Passport must be valid for the duration of the exchange plus 6 months
3. English transcript Transcript of Records Contact the University Training Department for issuance.

3. Rights and obligations:

a. Benefits:

  • 100% tuition and registration fee exemption at USJ;
  • Transcripts are issued upon completion of the program;
  • The results of studying abroad are considered for credit transfer back to HUFLIT if they are equivalent to the subjects in the program at HUFLIT. The maximum number of credits transferred is 25% of the total credits in the training program. (For example, if the training program consists of 100 credits, the maximum number of credits that can be transferred is 25 credits)

b. Obligations:

  • Self-pay all other expenses incurred during the exchange program;
  • Pay the application consultation support fee according to HUFLIT’s regulations;
  • Pay tuition fees corresponding to the subjects considered for equivalent recognition before departure;

Specific information on tuition and fees will be sent after students have their visa .

4. The application process is as follows:

  • Faculty notice to students.
  • Eligible students register at the Faculty Office.
  • The Faculty sends the nomination list to the Foreign Affairs Department before 16:30 on October 25, 2024 (the list must clearly state full name, student ID, email, phone number, passport number and time of exchange). If the number of applications is greater than the number of partners required, the Foreign Affairs Department will organize the selection of suitable students and notify the Faculty. Otherwise, the nomination list from the Faculty will be the official list of participants)
  • To avoid losing the opportunity of other students, after being nominated by the Faculty, students will pay 1,000,000 VND at the Foreign Affairs Office before 4:30 p.m. on October 30, 2024. This fee will be refunded after the student has a student visa.
  • After receiving information from the Faculty about the admission, the Office of External Relations will send the list of applicants to USJ. USJ will send the online application information via email to the students.
  • Students quickly prepare documents, submit them to the USJ system and take a screenshot of the successful submission and send it to the Foreign Affairs Office before the USJ deadline.
